Cabin in the woods

Me, Jess and Marcel is at the gym working out, I take a break on the weight bench and my phone buzzes in my pocket. I see that I get added to a WhatsApp group by an unknow number and there are five more numbers too, there's a text to go with it.

hey guys its taylor can you guys meet me here in an hour, I have some things to talk about its about the wyatt family

Then there is a location and it is a costa just out of town, it'll take around forty five minutes to drive there. I reply saying that I can be there in about an hour and a half and the others agree too.  I leave the gym and head home, I shower and change and leave to meet Taylor and the group.

I find a parking spot near the costa and I get out and lock the car. 

" Smith!" I hear 

 I turn around from my car and I see Alexa walking towards me holding a baby car seat.

 " hey, Alexa" I smile and hug her

 " who's this little cutie" I ask 

" oh, this is my daughter Hendrix" she smiles.

 I look into the carrier and I see this adorable baby asleep. We walk into the coffee shop and Taylor is sat talking with Eric having a coffee.

 " hey guys" Alexa says announcing our arrival. 

" hey girls" Eric smiles

 " we're just waiting for Joe and Dexter and then we can get to business, if you want a coffee or something go to the counter and speak to that lady there, it's on me" Taylor says

 " free coffee, you don't have to tell me twice" Alexa says jumping out of her seat making us laugh

" Abby, I'll get yours if you could watch Hendrix" she says

 " caramel latte please" I say sweetly and she nods and goes to the counter. Alexa comes back with both coffee as Joe and Dexter walks through the door, Taylor tells Joe and Dexter the same thing and Joe grabs a coffee and Dexter sits down then Taylor gets down to business once Joe returns.

" so firstly I would like to thank everyone for coming in such sort notice, especially Eric and Lex because you guys have children. I will get straight to the point so you can get back to what you were doing. So, I have this Idea to shoot some things in the woods and I want to do these twitch streams of a therapy session and then a week later have Dexter write out these notes" Taylor explains 

" so, we are going to camp in the woods for a week and shoot?" Joe asked with a chuckle and Taylor rolls his eyes

 " no, Joe" Eric chuckles 

" we will stay at Windham's old Cabins, if we get everything done first time we would be like two days, if things take longer then obviously we will have to stay longer. Now, I understand you guys have families and partners so if you can't make it, that's understandable but I would like you all to come of possible to make my vision work and I think it would be a way to get to know each other a little more as we are working together now" Taylor explains.

 " I can make it" Joe says 

" me too" Dexter

 "  when because I will have to talk to Ryan, he might have band things going on and might not be able to fully watch Hendrix" Alexa asked

 " I was hoping Tuesday to Thursday next week, that way you talk to your partners, work out what you have to work out, Abby what about you?" Taylor asked

 " I should be good" I smile at him 

" cool" he smiles at me 

" I will speak to Leah when I get home" Eric says and Taylor nods.

 We spend some time talking about what Taylor has planned and it sounds fucking crazy and I am so excited and can't wait to see how it turns out. We leave and me and Alexa walk towards the car.

 " hey you hungry?" she asked

 " I can eat" I tell her. 

" there's some food places down here, wanna get something to eat?" she asked

 " sure" I agree and we go off to find something to eat. We finally find somewhere and we just eat and talk about life. It's been fun getting to know Alexa, obviously being around the WWE you hear of people and you hear stories about that person. But getting to know she is completely different to what I have heard.

 " can I ask you something?" I ask her

 " you just did" she chuckles and I roll my eyes at her

 " go for it?" she says being more serious.

 " how are you feeling about staying with the guys?" I ask 

" what do you mean?" she asked with her eyes creasing in confusion

 " I mean like staying where you don't you know, with people you don't really know. Like I'm feeling anxious as shit" I chuckle a little 

" I mean I feel okay I guess, I have known Taylor for years so I know him pretty well, I kinda know Eric and his just a gentle giant. I don't know Dexter or Joe but they seem cool. But I get why you'll feel on edge but don't worry we can look after each other, we can share rooms and do everything together, especially when we have to travel" she smiles sweetly at me

 " you will be fine" she smiles 

" thanks" I chuckle. 

I get home and Marcel and Jess are chilling in her room so I watch a film then go to sleep.

A few days later and I am packing as I am going to the cabin in the morning. Jess walks into my room

 " what you packing for" she asked sitting on my bed

 " oh, work things" I tell her 

" for how long?" she asked 

" uhm, couple of days" I tells her

 " who you going with?" she asked

 " nice try, Jess" I chuckle 

" oh come on, tell me something" she moans and lays back on the bed and I laugh

 " I can't, Jess" I tell her still laughing 

" does it include Rhea" she says sitting up and wiggling her eyebrows at me 

" no" I chuckle 

" oh come on, give me something" she moans again

 " uhm, look out for WWE twitch" I tell her. 

" so me and Marcel fucked for the first time last night" she randomly blurts out 

" well that's a dramatic change of conversation" laughing

 " well at least one of us is getting laid" I chuckle 

" what's going on with you and Rhea?" she asked

 " I haven't really spoken to her since the kiss but I guess she's just busy" I say 

" to busy to send a text" Jess says and I shrug. 

I finished packing and as I zip up my travel bag my phone rings and I see that Rhea is calling me through Instagram. 

" hey" I answer with a smile like she can see.

" hey, sorry I haven't texted or anything I have been super busy, and every time I thought I had time to text something came up and I'd forget" she explains 

" it's fine, Demi" I chuckle more at her chaotic explanation 

" I've miss you, when can I see you" she says softly    

" I have work things for a few days, but maybe after" I suggest

" sounds good" she says and I can hear her smile. 

We stay on the phone for a bit longer and she tells me what she has been up to on her travels and it does sound very chaotic.. We end the phone call because Rhea was tired and so was and I go to bed feeling a lot happier that I have spoken to Rhea and the butterflies kick in.
