Also Bokuto's sisters and parents were given names by me since they don't have any official names (and im not typing "Bokuto's sister " or "Bokuto's mom" every time.

“Kaede? Keiko? Koutarou?” Hiromi, their mother, called out for them. She heard their familiar footsteps before they all filed into the living room where she and her husband, Ronin, were in.
“What is it, mom?” Keiko, the middle child, asked.
“Your father and I have some exciting news?” Hiromi explained as she held up a pregnancy test, “You’re going to have a little sibling!”
Kaede, being the oldest, mentally sighed, ‘Another one? I already have to deal with two,’ she thought to herself.
Koutarou, being the youngest, was more than ecstatic, “Really? Is it a boy? I hope it’s a boy, I’m the only boy here,”
“Um hello?” Ronin deadpanned at his son, “What am I?”
“You don’t count,” Koutarou crossed his arms, “I’m tired of playing dress-up,”
“We don’t even play that anymore,” Keiko looked at him weirdly.
“You get my point,” Kourtaou furrowed his brows.
“Well, regardless of their gender,” Hiromi jumped in, “I’m sure you three will love them with all your heart,”

“It’s a girl!” Hiromi and Ronin announced to their three kids.
Kaede and Keiko looked at each other with some joy while Koutarou frowned and crossed him arms, “But I wanted a brother…”
Hiromi, being the attentive mom she was, went up to her son and pulled him into a hug, “Just because she’s a girl doesn’t mean you can’t do all the things you planned,”
Koutarou was still frowning but looked up at her mom, “What do you mean?”
“You two can play with your action figures, play with dirt, play volleyball, everything,” Hiromi explained, “Just because she’s a girl doesn't change that,”
Koutarou thought about all his plans but instead of envisioning a brother, he envisioned a sister. A smile slowly crept onto his lips, “I can really do those things with her?”
Hiromi smiled, “Of course honey,” she brushed his bangs away from his face.
“Okay,” Koutarou nodded, “When does she come out?”
