The dreadful day arrived when Fukurodani had to leave the camp. Fukurodani was scheduled to leave before Nekoma, and that did not serve right for Takumi and (F/n).

"Brother-owl!" (F/n) cried as she hugged Takumi, "I don't want to leave!"

Everyone felt sorry for the two children.

"Nii-chan!" Takumi cried, "I want her to stay!"

Bokuto frowned, not liking to see his little sister both cry and hug Takumi. Kuroo sighed, knowing that this was going to be hard on the little boy. Akaashi and Yaku were the ones who had to console the two children.

"(F/n), it's going to be okay," Akaashi said as she was rubbing her back.

(F/n) shook her head, holding onto Takumi.

"Takumi, you'll get to see her again eventually," Yaku reassured Takumi.

Takumi also shook his head and hugged (F/n) tighter.

The two sighed, looking at one another to figure out a way to get the two separated and okay with leaving one another.

Takumi pulls away slightly to look at (F/n). (F/n) picks her head up to look at him.

"You're not going to forget me, are you?" Takumi asked.

(F/n) shook her head, "Never," (F/n) sniffled, "You're my Knight, how could I ever forget you?"

Takumi sniffles, "And you're my queen,"

Bokuto and Kuroo, although finding it somewhat cute, also found the whole thing a little cringe.

"It's like a really bad soap opera," Kuroo told Bokuto.

"Yeah..." Bokuto agreed, "They're small, so they get a bit of a pass,"

Kuroo nodded.

(F/n) then got an idea and let go of Takumi before going to her brother, "Brother-owl! I need my stuffies,"

Bokuto, who was holding her bag, raised his eyebrow but opened her bag to take out the two owl plushies she brought. She then walked back to Takumi. Takumi looked at the plushies with confusion.

"These two are partners, and I was always afraid I'd lose one of them," (F/n) explained, "But, I want you to have this one," (F/n) handed him the female version, "So that you always have a piece of me with you,"

Takumi's eyes widened and his cheeks flushed and he shakily took the plushy, "What about that one?"

(F/n) smiled, "I will keep this one so that I have a piece of you with me, and then if we see each other again, we can reunite them together,"

Takumi stared at her in complete awe and he nodded, "Okay,"

After a few more hugs and more consoling, (F/n) got onto the bus with her brother and Fukurodani finally left the training camp. (F/n) started crying again once the bus pulled away and she buried her face in Bokuto's chest as she cried. Bokuto rubbed her back and said that everything was going to be okay and that there would be more opportunities to be reunited with Takumi.
