F1 - The fate of a lifetime

Prologue

At the age of 4, a young boy named Y/N living in the capital of France, Paris, discovered the Formula 1 with an impressive performance of Fernando Alonso at the Grand Prix of Suzuka 2006. He fell in love with sport and in 2007, a year later he rode for the first time in a karting with his father.

As soon as he had the opportunity, Y/N and his father went on a karting circuit to train and at the age of 8, he is registered in the French karting championship in the Mini 60 category. He win the championship the same year and continued to go karting on the weekend as soon as he have the opportunity. He participated in several competitions and won a majority but his dream is further and only money prevents him. He dreams of becoming like his idols or even better. Become better than Fernando Alonso, Alain Prost or even more recently Sebastian Vettel.

5 years later

During a weekend on the Paul Ricard circuit, a karting competition is organized and gives a chance to young talents. This Grand Prix offers the winner the chance to try a Formula 4. For Y/N, it is the chance of a lifetime. For qualifying, Y/N managed to qualify 7th out of forty people. He knows that winning the race tomorrow will not be easy. The next day after his installation on the grid, the stress begins to rise, he is the youngest on the grid and he knows that he is the most talented. In addition, important people are present as engineers, sponsors but we draw his attention to the quadruple champion of France of Formula 1, Alain Prost. He knows now, he has to perform well.

Stress continues to rise, the countdown begins. This is his only chance to realize his dream. 25 laps to hold, 25 laps to go from 7th to 1st place, 25 laps to impress.

At the end of the first corner, Y/N wins 2 places. He continued his race to overtake the fourth at the end of the 5th lap and caught up with the first 4 afterwards. On lap 9 and 11, he overtook lap 4 and 3 respectively. At the end of lap 15 at the last turn, he overtook the second. He gets a better out of corner, a better acceleration and joins the 1st. It goes forward, continuous, and at the end of the first corner, it goes forward and continues to widen the gap. He crossed the finish line 5 seconds apart. Most of the paddock is surprised at his talent. Many people don't know who he was impressed with. Leaving his kart, Y/N quickly joined his father to celebrate his victory with him. Y/N knows, he impressed, he did the job, he seized his only opportunity. On the podium, he is applauded. He then collected his trophy at the end of the ceremony. Alain Prost himself joined him and his father in their little box to greet him, congratulate him, but also to make contact to be able to make this private test of Formula 4.
