Prompt: Killian and Emma are awaiting a firework show, but it starts raining, canceling the show. Killian becomes upset because he really wanted to see fireworks (since he didn't know what they were and Emma was making a big deal about them). Emma suggests they make their own fireworks.

"Here we are."

I close the car door of my bug and wait for Killian to get out. We were going to a fireworks show to celebrate the Fourth of July and I'm so happy to be spending it with him. Plus, he's never seen them, I bet his reaction will be priceless.

Something like 'Bloody hell! What kind of magic is this, Swan?' or he'll quickly hug me tight, afraid of them like a little puppy.

"Come on, Killian! We need to get good seats. We may live in a small town, but there's many residents here and if we don't go now we won't be able to see them up close and-"

I walk over to the passenger side and see him struggling to get out of the bug. "What the hell?" I burst into a laugh. "How did this happen?" Killian glances up at me, annoyance consuming his facial features.

"Well, during the ride here, I was adjusting the seat and now I can't get it back and-" He paused momentarily, trying harder to get out. "And your vessel is so small. I can't even-"

I bent down and placed a kiss on his lips to get him to calm down. Our foreheads leaned against each other's as I smiled wide and whispered, "I got it, Killian."

I moved the seat a bit and easily fixed whatever problem he seemed to be having. When I stood back up, I grabbed his hand and helped him out of the passenger side. "There."

"What would I do without you, Swan?" He chuckled, embarassment showing on his face. "I don't know, you'd probably find me," I answer. "Aye, always."

We made our way to the big open area of grass. Music was playing, there were stands surrounding the fieldcontaining food, clothes, toys, and anything you could ever want pretty much. I mean, we have magic.

We, suprisingly, found a good spot smack dab in the middle of the field; not too far from the display, but not too close where our necks would break off just trying to look at the colors.

I set out a huge blanket across the ground and placed or picnic basket on top; I didn't want to pay for food. We both sat down, side by side and fed each other strawberries while we waited.

I began to feel a slight drizzle, but didn't think anything of it. "So, are you excited?" I asked Killian, teasing him with the fact that he had never seen fireworks. But, I mean, seriously, they have magic in their world, but not fireworks?

"Aye and if they don't start soon, I'm going to drive myself crazy," He exclaimed. "Wait! Correction: You're going to drive me crazy since you keep teasing me like that."

I giggled, smirked, and raised my arm up, "Guilty." He just laughed and kissed my cheek, "God, you're the best." I touched his nose and replied, "I know, but hey, you're not doing too bad yourself."

His expression went from a smile to a straight face. He stared into my eyes and glanced at my lips for a brief moment before crashing them onto mine.

It was full of passion for definite. He cupped my cheek and deepened the kiss and we had just got started. I didn't know his intention, but I wasn't complaining. I wrapped my arms around his neck as he licked my bottom lip, asking for entrance. I gladly granted him access and we continued our kiss. Our tongues were battling for domiance and it was just wonderful.
