Part Seven: I Know Something You Don't

"Just take it."
Zhenya slammed a stack of money on the teachers desk,
"Sorry but, this isn't enough."
The teacher slid the money to Zhenya's side of the desk. Zhenya was standing infront of the teacher, only the desk was separating them.
"The hell you mean 'this isn't enough' ?! I gave you 5 thousand!"
"I mean, this isn't enough money for me to change Taekjoo's grade."
"Do you want more?! Is that it?!"
He took another stack of money out of his pocket and placed it on the desk.
"10 thousand."
Zhenya was irritated, the teacher just wanted to get as much money as he could from him!
The teacher, Mr. Choi, is just a money hungry idiot in Zhenya's eyes, even though Zhenya has enough money to buy the whole city ten times over it still pissed him off that Mr. Choi kept demanding more money just to change a simple grade.
He looked down at the the money on the desk, and then back at Zhenya.

"This will do."

(Back with Taekjoo)

It was nearing the end of lunch period, he was walking to class with his friends, but he separated from them because he didn't have the same classes as them. Taekjoo was walking down the hallway to his next class, when he heard commotion coming from a classroom. He didn't mind it at first, and he had just ignored it, but he recognized the voices. Was that... Zhenya's voice?
He didn't really know what to do, and it wasn't any of his business, so he just kept walking to his class, but he heard Zhenya say something,

"The hell you mean 'this isn't enough' ?! I gave you 5 thousand!"

What the hell did he mean by that? Taekjoo stopped on his tracks, and slowly turned around, to face the door of the classroom where the voices were coming from. It was his Cyber Security class, he had the same class as Zhenya, unfortunately. He could hear their teacher,
Mr. Choi's voice inside the classroom as well. What did Zhenya mean by giving Mr. Choi 5 thousand? Was he talking about money? The curiosity was eating away at him, he really wanted to know what was going on, even though it was really none of his business. (He just nosy like that 🤷‍♀️) Taekjoo put his hand on the door handle, he was still debating opening it or not, but he knew that if he didn't then he would spend the rest of his life curious about this, so it was best that he just open the door. He opened the door, slowly so that it wouldn't make a sound. He not cracked the door open so he could see them but they couldn't see him.
There was a stack of money on the teachers desk, it seemed like Zhenya had placed it there.
"10 thousand."
Zhenya said sternly, the teacher replied with a simple,
"This will do."
Zhenya exhaled and nodded, he left the money there and began walking towards the door. Taekjoo, who was still watching, got startled when he saw Zhenya coming towards the door and immediately left, rushing to his class.

Zhenya began walking towards the door, but he spotted someone there. He couldn't really tell who it was, but whoever was standing behind the door seemed to have seen Zhenya and immediately scurried away.
"What a coward."
Zhenya scoffed and left the classroom, now that he had paid off his teachers, he could go to class.
