50. The Fight

Noah!

He shot the guy who was holding me and another shot came which shot the guy who was holding the gun near Dustin.

Where did this other shot come from?

Even Emory and Blake were looking around.

Suddenly Blake and Emory were pushed forward from back and then I saw him and he jumped from the balcony upstairs holding a rope and kicked them down as he landed near me and wiped my tears off.

Ivan

He's also here.

And suddenly all hell break lose and bullets started firing everywhere. Ivan covered me and started firing as well.

Dustin's ropes were cut off by Noah but my chains had a lock.

Emory and Blake were completely outnumbered and they knew it.

They were now held by our guards.

"Keys?" Dustin asked Emory as he reached her.

She just struggled to get out of the guard's hands.

"It's in her pocket." I answered.

Dustin checked her pockets and found the keys. He threw it at Ivan who caught them and opened my chains. As soon as the chains were off, he examined the damage that was done to my wrists. He even checked the bruises that formed on my face.

"Princess" Dad called.

I immediately turned around and ran towards him. I jumped in his arms and hugged him tightly and started crying.

"Everything is okay now. We are here for you."

I sobbed hard.

Dad then pushed me towards Ethan and the twins. They held me like they never want me out of their sight again.

I see Dad and Ryan facing the cause behind my kidnapping.

"I never wanted to kill you both kids. However, I know you guys are gonna be a problem i have no choice other than to eliminate you both." Dad said as he held the gun to Emory's forehead and Ryan did the same with Blake.

"No....No- Elisa please help us." Emory said.

"Please we are your friends. Please forgive us once." Blake said next.

I stepped forward to go towards them and I see Ethan almost stopping me but one look from Ryan, he stopped. An understanding passed between them.

"Correction. You guys WERE my friends." i said with tears in my eyes.

"Please Elisa, we're just kids like you. We've got a future in front of us." Emory begged.

I looked at them and then really notice how they truly were feeling.

I looked down and wiped my tears then smiled.

"You really thought that I'm gonna be fooled by this stupid act of yours. I'm soft-hearted but not enough to not see how dangerous you guys could be for my family in future." I said while smiling sweetly. I could tell everyone were shocked by my words.

I looked at dad and Ryan and they seemed proud of me.

"Pointing a gun at me was one thing. Trying to kill me was one thing. But pointing a gun at my family and thinking of killing them is other. If you thought i was gonna just forgive you and let you go away with this pathetic begging of yours, you had other thing coming."

"Goodbye" I said and stepped back giving a green signal to Dad and Ryan to finish them off.

"No...no Ple-" and i heard a gunshot go of and a scream.

Blake is dead. He was pleading when the bullet hit his forehead in the middle of the eyes.

Emory looked horrified looking at the scene. Her brother died in front of her.

I just closed my eyes. I can't look at this. She's screaming and continuously struggling.

Another shot goes off and the screaming stops.

It is over. Everything is over now. So much happened in one day. My kidnapping, guns and me almost getting killed. I still cannot forget the betrayal of Aaron. Now i think about it, I just liked him and didn't love him because his betrayal although hurt me but now that i think about it, it doesn't make me too surprised now.

We were never meant to be. All that care and loving gestures were fake. He was also a pawn in someone's game but still i will never forgive him.

Everything that happens take a toll on me.

My knees suddenly gave up and my head starts spinning as I collapse in Ethan's arms.

I just want to go home now.

I'm now determined to finish this novel. I hate how i cannot focus and still think this book isn't really that great. Not gonna lie, i thought about discontinuing this book several times but i wanted to be someone who finishes their work and not like the most of the authors here who leave their books in between.

I am also a reader so i know how frustrating it is to read a book, almost in suspense and then find out the reader hasn't updated in years.

So here you go I'm gonna finish this book really soon.
