Authors' Note: Oswald and Justice aren't going to become a ship btw, it was moms' idea in the first place. /lh /aff

Samantha Gordon got her fair share of unwanted attention, being young, pretty, and the only female cop in the GCPD - although some of these Neanderthals [no, that would be an insult to Neanderthals] weren't picky and would go for anyone with a pulse. The worst was the aptly named Pigg - She knew the GCPD had low standards, but a man like this? He probably shouldn't even be allowed to be a police officer. She was already sick of seeing women run out of the room in tears after having a conversation with him, and that was the least of his metaphorical crimes. The most frustrating part was that he had committed no actual crimes. His record was clean. She groaned as the man approached her with a fake grin. "Officer Gordon." He greeted as he leaned against a desk. "Pigg." Samantha responded, putting emphasis on the word and hoping that he took the cue that whatever he wanted with her, she wasn't interested. To her dismay, it only made him more insistent. "You know, if you were nicer to me, things would probably be a lot easier for you around here. Why not join me for a drink?" She had to supress an actual gag. "I'd rather die." She commented and turned to leave - when he grabbed her wrist, she found herself throwing a punch with her free arm - her fist connecting with his jaw.

Oswald Cobblepot was not a man who found himself sounding awkward very often as he practised what he was going to say. "Miss Myth...no, too professional...Justice, I would like you to meet my-" He nearly jumped out of his skin when he was tapped on the shoulder, finding Justice Myth herself standing right behind him. "You want me to meet your what?" She raised an eyebrow, only the slightest hint of amusement to be found in her well-trained emotionless expression. It came out slurred, almost like one word; "Iwouldlikeyoutomeetmymother-" Justice raised an eyebrow. "Say again?" Penguin took a breath. "I would like you to meet my mother." She snorted - she wouldn't admit to it after - and placed a hand on her hip. "You want me to meet your mother? Pengy, I'm not usually a hit with parents." She half-joked, although she found herself entertaining the idea. "I assure you, my mother is a lovely woman. She would adore you." Justice sighed exaggeratedly. "It couldn't hurt."

Once Samantha had started hitting the man, she found she couldn't stop - not that she wanted to. By the time she was dragged off him, he was barely conscious, having two black eyes, a bust nose, and a split lip. And that was the more minor of his injuries - he also had a few broken ribs, a broken arm, and a few of his teeth had been knocked out. She silently groaned at the fact he hadn't choked on one. He was bleeding from his head, too. He'd have to be in hospital for a good while, even if she hadn't managed to finish the job before she heard the Commissioner yelling; "Gordon!" And knew she was in for it. She just assaulted a police officer - although, she would have to say he had it coming. She doubted he would agree with her on the matter, though. She held up her hands, something about being covered in the blood of such a perverted asshole both made her feel sick - and kinda good at the same time. If the law wouldn't uphold justice? Well, it would just have to find another way.

Oswald had been telling the truth, Justice noted - his mother was a very nice woman. Even invited her for tea on the excuse that her Son didn't bring home friends very often - Of course, she accepted, and everything went quite well. "Well, Oswald, whatever the purpose behind tonight was, I had a good time. Your mother is a very good cook." She chuckled, slapping the man on the back in a surprisingly friendly manner - even if she did almost knock him right over. "...Oops. I forget my own strength." Oswald smiled. "I'm glad you had a good time, Justice. I'll see you at the club tomorrow." The Vigilante smiled. "Yeah, Try not to get beat up in the meantime." She joked as she adjusted her jacket with a chuckle. "See you tomorrow, bird brain." The nickname was affectionate...despite the fact there was probably no one else alive who dared call Oswald Cobblepot, bird brain.

"Hand in your badge and gun." Samantha would have laughed, but she knew that, unfortunately, the commissioner was serious. "Excuse me?" She replied, as if she hadn't heard the order. "You assaulted an officer. Hand in your badge and gun." She scoffed. "You're firing me for incapacitating that freak?" A glare. "You're lucky I'm not arresting you." She took out her pistol, placing it on the desk - and her badge, looking it over carefully. "Clearly, this is a police department in name only. ...This city can't be cured by anything the law can do anyway." She slammed her badge on the desk and turned around. "See you never." She was still incredibly angry, and full of adrenaline as she walked out of the room, bumping straight into Ed and Evelyn on the way out. "I am so sorry, Miss Gordon - I couldn't help but overhear. I must say, if you went overboard by the standards of the GCPD-" She grabbed him by the tie and pushed him against the wall, with her hand around his throat. "Don't. Start. Nygma."

"I meant it as - as a compliment!" He managed to stutter despite the hand around his throat. "He really did." Evelyn quipped, oddly unphased - although she seemed to be reaching for something concealed under her skirt. Likely enough a weapon. Samantha let go and grunted out; "Well, compliment me when I'm feeling better." And disappeared down the alleyway - witnessing the mugging of an old woman by two heavyset men. She smiled and cracked her neck. "Hey boys." She gave the woman her bag back after near enough beating both thugs to a pulp. "Be more careful, next time."
