Christians are "brainwashed".
Brainwashed by the grace, mercy, and LOVE of Jesus Christ. He washes evil away from our minds, and purifies our hearts so we may become more like Him. Only Jesus can do that. So don't ever allow someone else's "brainwash" comment to tear you down, because the love of Christ washes our dirty minds and that's a beautiful thing.
