(Note at the end)

Louis and Albert went a little... crazy.

After the news of their sister being pregnant was out, everyone was assigned a task.

Despite them agreeing on Sherlock staying there for the whole pregnancy, some of them weren't exactly happy with the idea of Sherlock and Lilliana sharing a room.

"Everyone, don't be ridiculous. Are you forgetting that Sherlock and Lilliana are married? They had lived together for three years and now she is pregnant. They have to sleep in the same room!" Albert stated, emphasizing the important message with Louis backing him up.

"Albert is right, just because you all don't like it but it is her life. She is happy with Sherlock then let her be with him, her happiness is our top priority"

Reluctantly, the ones who weren't on board with the idea agreed and so, now they were assigned different tasks in order to have the room ready by the end of the day.

Sherlock and Lilliana are going shopping for Lilliana's clothes since they have barely packed their clothes from Brooklyn.

Besides, they are just looking for some excuse to spend the whole day together anyway.

Thankfully, to the eyes of the public the lord of crime was a man named William James Moriarty whose body was plunged into the Thames and was pronounced dead so Lilliana didn't have to worry about getting recognized.

As they got to the market, the couple remained glued together. Lilliana hooked her hands with her husband as the two stroll around from store to store.

"Liane, we are here to shop for you. Don't hold back" Lilliana sighed as she nodded. "Sherly.. I just feel bad, spending your hard earn money like this"

Sherlock softened his gaze as he turned to look at Lilliana and held her chin up, "Love, I know you would feel bad asking your brothers for money so this is our money we are spending. We are married. What is mine is yours, don't feel bad alright?" Lilliana smiled as she gave the detective a kiss on the cheek.

As they were about to head into a boutique, loud sound of squeals from women could be heard in front of them.

"Bloody hell.." Sherlock cursed under his breath.

"Is that you, Mister Sherlock Holmes?! He's really alive, isn't he! Goodness Gracious, god really is serving justice! The light of London returned while the darkness of London stayed in hell!" A woman spoke.

Sherlock squeezed Lilliana hand and smiled at her.  "It's alright, I'm fine" Lilliana reassured.

Sherlock then turned to the group of women and smiled at them, "Ladies, I would like it if you turn your tone down a notch, yeah? I don't want it to affect the baby"

Lilliana widen her eyes, Sherlock was not afraid to show her off to the world, she smiled as she felt the warmth surging throughout her body.

"Oh my, a baby? I apologize, sir. My name is Elizabeth. Ah! Who is this lovely lady?" A wealthy looking woman asked.

Lilliana smiled as she slightly bow to show respect, "My name is Lilliana, it's a pleasure to meet you"

The ladies returned the bow, "likewise! And congratulations on your baby!" Lilliana smiled as she thanked them. Elizabeth turned to face Sherlock, "I'm sorry for intruding but what is your relations with her?"

"She's my wife" Sherlock proudly said.

The women gasped in delight, their curiosity piqued further.

"Oh, how wonderful! We didn't know you were married, Mr. Holmes. Congratulations to both of you," The woman next to Elizabeth said, her face lighting up with genuine happiness.

Lilliana looked at the woman and warming sensation bloomed in her chest. On further inspection, she could tell that all of the ladies are from different classes but despite their social positions, all of them are good friends. Lilliana smiled as she knew her plan to rebuild London had worked.

Sherlock and Lilliana shared a knowing glance, their smiles conveying the deep affection they held for each other. Lilliana's eyes twinkle with affection as she smiled sweetly at her husband.

"Thank you very much, my ladies. We appreciate your kind words," Sherlock replied, his tone sincere.

The women nodded. "I won't keep you any longer. Enjoy your shopping, and may you have a smooth and joyous pregnancy, Mrs. Holmes." But before walking away, Elizabeth turned to Lilliana, a smile on her face.

"If you don't mind, would you want to spend some time with us once in a while for some tea? I would love to get to know you better!"

Lilliana politely smiled, "That would be lovely, thank you for your offer"

With a final wave, the women dispersed, allowing the couple to continue their shopping in peace. Lilliana looked up at Sherlock.

"You handled that perfectly, Sherly... For a moment I thought you weren't going to tell them about me" she said, squeezing his hand.

Sherlock leaned down to kiss her forehead. "I will show you off any chance I get, my dear. You are special, Liane. Now, let's find you some beautiful clothes, shall we?"

They spent the next few hours exploring the shops, picking out outfits for Lilliana and some for Sherlock. Each item they chose came with laughter, shared memories, and serious consideration. For once, the world outside seemed distant and unimportant compared to the bubble of happiness they had created together.

By the time they returned home, their arms laden with parcels, they found the room prepared and everyone was eager to show it to the couple. The once tense atmosphere had transformed into one of excitement and anticipation for the new addition to the family.

"I hope you had a fun time with Sherlock, Lillian" Louis spoke calmly to Lilliana and shot a glare at Sherlock. "You did not make her carry the bags, didn't you?"

Sherlock held his hands up, "of course no, I would never. Although she kept saying that she could handle it.."

Lilliana chuckled as he ruffled Sherlock's hair, "Sherly, I'm pregnant... not weak" Sherlock scoffed. "I know but.." "I will be fine, darling" Lilliana kissed Sherlock's cheek as she nudged him to walk towards their new room. "Louis decorated the room just like you like it, my lady. Please do some additional decorating as you please to make it feel like home" The couple thanked everyone as they disappeared into their room.
