there are two types of people when they hear the two words, 'training camps'. yui, being the manager, was obviously excited. what she wasn't excited for, was to wake up extremely early to board the bus. on the other hand, kenma hated the idea of how tiring it would be and how he'll have lesser time to play his games. this isn't his first training camp but he was dreading it slightly more than he normally would. (he isn't able to talk to someone who he has gotten used to and he's starting to like her more than he thinks.) maybe if he knew that yui was coming, he would be a little more excited. but he doesn't. did yui lie to him about being part of the training camp? maybe.

yui grumbles as she gets off the bus, trudging behind the rest as they greet the boys. "who's this? a new manager again? it's only been like two weeks since our last match." kuroo groans as daichi and the rest smirk at him. "she's my twin sister. her suspension recently finished, that's why she's only appearing now." noya laughs. "suspended?" bokuto ponders. "i punched a bitch and she broke her nose." yui yawns. "that's so cool!" the owl head said, making yui chuckle proudly. "bokuto-san, your idea of cool is not what someone would normally find cool..." akaashi mentions, and the older boy laughs it off. "nishinoya yuuka at your service." she says, bowing to the group of boys as a form of a greeting. "she will be helping out with the managers for this week. we're also leaving her up in case anyone wants another manager, lest she breaks our nose next." "hey! i would never do that!" the girl retorts back towards daichi. "tsk. how can someone be this noisy in the morning?" a certain blond says under his breath, but it doesn't go unheard. "tsukki! you're going to run an extra five laps!"

at the end of the day, they traded her off to nekoma. the girl groans and whines, yet internally she was excited. (mainly because she gets to see kenma and be closer to him) kenma doesn't know it's her, and she's loving every bit of it. is he how she expected him to be? mostly. she's been teasing him a little more than the others and he's picked up on it, feeling a little weirded out. "drink up! i know i'm only a substitute manager for this week, but in the past five matches I've seen today, you guys are really good." yui- no, yuuka, says. the team grins and smirk, except for kenma who was busy resting on the bench. "however! yamamoto, you move too much. kenma, you move too little. kuroo, improve on your blocking, i'm sure you can do better... or are you saying you can't?" the girl snickers, and kuroo puts up a fist. "HAHHHH? you better watch out! i'll be acing all my blocks, and when that happens, you're dead." "mhm, yeah yeah. and you! lev. you suck! your receives, serving, blocking... are all horrible! sloppy and disgraceful." yuuka scowls at him, and the team laughs at the freshman whose face has turned red with embarrassment.

"you don't really have the right when your team has been doing penalties for every match now." Yaku said, and yuuka sticks his tongue out. "they aren't my problem now." she shrugs. "you are their manager though..." kenma says under his breath. "tsk tsk tsk, kenma! i'm your teams manager now. anyways, i can't even help them. i don't play volleyball." she shrugs.

yuuka wanders around the school, a bit bored out of her mind. she hears some noises and follows it towards one of the gyms, passing by tsukishima on the way. "hey, have you guys eaten? there's not gonna be food in a few more minutes, so hurry up." "oh, okay let's continue tomorrow then." kuroo says towards the other two. "impressive how you got tsukki to practice with you three." "yui, come here and help us with the bottles." the bed head says, and yuuka raises an eyebrow, folding her arms. "yui?" akaashi questions. "it's so obvious, i could tell when you got here." kuroo shrugs and yui rolls her eyes, "who's yui? are you not yuuka?" bokuto questions, earning a harsh pat on the back from kuroo. "nah, her real name is yui. she's lying about her name so she won't get caught by kenma." bokuto looks at the girl for confirmation and she gives a thumbs up, helping them collect their bottles. "don't tell kenma though, this has to be our secret. so just continue calling me yuuka." she says, putting a finger on her lip and bokuto nods, understanding. "quick, let's go back to the cafeteria so that you boys can finish your food and i can go rest earlier." yui says, pushing the three out of the gym.
