YEOSANG
"Wait, so you two are dating now?" Yeosang asked as he leaned against the cafe's counter. Yunho had just told him the big news, but between his excitement and Yeosang's tiredness he hardly processed it.
Yunho nodded happily, "He asked me out last night."
"That's good, man," Yeosang congratulated, "I'm happy for you both."
Yunho smiled softly, resembling a playful puppy. He wasn't lying, he truly was happy for them, just with his own drama he couldn't express it properly.
"So tell me what's going on with you and your three men," Yunho said, "I wanna know everything."
Yeosang sighed loudly. He knows this was going to come up, he just didn't want to talk about it though. He didn't even want to think about it.
"When Jongho picked me up that one day we um.. we made out in his car," He gulped before continuing, "And then he took me home and we fucked."
"What?!"
"I know, I know! I don't know what I was thinking. I've been ignoring San and Wooyoung since," Yeosang said with a sigh, "I just don't know how to face them even if they don't know what happened and that were not even dating."
Suddenly, the cafe door opened. Yeosang's eyes darted to the door, his attention redirected from Yunho to the new customer. Except, it wasn't a customer.
It was San.
Yeosang's face dropped as he laid his eyes on him, his pout turning into an expression of shock and slight fear. Why was San here? Was he looking for him? He probably was, he'd been ignoring him for days.
"Can we talk?" San asked gently, standing at the counter in front of Yeosang.
Yeosang gulped, looking at Yunho. Yunho just nodded, knowing he could handle the cafe alone since it was literally just the three of them in there at the moment.
Yeosang bit the inside of his mouth as he stepped out from behind the counter. "Outside?" He suggested, not wanting Yunho to hear whatever the conversation was about to be.
San nodded, following Yeosang out the front. His eyes traced over Yeosang's gentle features, searching for the right words to say. The anxiety of what San was about to say ate Yeosang up.
"Why have you been ignoring me and Wooyoung?" San asked, figuring that to be the best way to start, "Did one of us do something, or are you bored or what? Tell me so I can fix it."
Yeosang shook his head. "You didn't do anything," He assured, his eyes glued to the ground, "I promise."
"Then what is it?" San pleaded, desperate to know why he hasn't spoken to him in days.
Yeosang closed his eyes and took a deep breath. He opened them and exhaled, "I saw my ex."
"Does that mean you don't want to see us anymore?" A hurt tone laced San's voice, "Because that's okay, you can just say that, you don't have to ignore us."
Yeosang finally looked up at him, "That's not it at all," he said softly as his hand came up to caress San's cheek. He couldn't stand the pain in his voice.
"I'm just..." Yeosang started as his thumb brushed his cheekbone, "Confused. Very confused."
San nodded in understanding, melting into his touch. His hand reached up to hold Yeosang's against his face.
"I just don't know," Yeosang continued, "I thought I was over him until he came back into my life. He was my first boyfriend and then he disappeared, now he's back and I don't know what to do."
San nodded, understanding how that could be confusing.
"It's hard because I want him back.. but I also don't. On top of that I want something with you and Wooyoung. I don't know what to think or what to do," He said, his voice breaking slightly as he describes his situation.
San didn't know what to say in response, so he just pulled him into a hug. He held him close, whispering in his ear, "I miss you."
Yeosang nearly burst into tears as he heard that, his hands tightly gripping the back of San's shirt. He tucked his head into San's tanned neck, sniffling as tears threatened to escape.
"I'm sorry," He barely squeaked out.
San pulled away from him, taking his face in his hands. "You have nothing to be sorry for, I know that feelings can be confusing."
Yeosang smiled gently, at that moment he knew it was right. He knew then that San was the one he wanted over Jongho, he felt sure that San wouldn't treat him as Jongho did.
"Can I come over tonight?" Yeosang asked shyly, expecting him to say no.
San smiled, "Of course you can."
Yeosang felt the weight of his worries lift off his shoulders, "I'll have Yunho take me over after our shift then," He said with a grin.
He couldn't wait for work to end that day. It was slow, which was already terrible, but now he was even more anxious. Seeing San and Wooyoung would probably be awkward, or it'd turn into sex.
When their shift finally ended, Yeosang and Yunho left the cafe together.
"Wooyoung and San's, right?" Yunho asked.
Yeosang nodded, clicking his seatbelt into place.
