Dear Diary,

I have no idea to whom to write this story because I want everyone to read this, so I decided to write it to this diary because it is the only thing I can talk to at the moment.

Anyways, let me give y'all (the person or people reading my diary) a little introduction about me.

I am Yuna.

I am a student of AU, and I am currently a college student. I am from Neon City, and I belong to District A, Pink Street.

I don't like bragging, but I am quite famous in my street and AU. I am not rich or something. I am just very talkative and frank with the ones around me. Though, I prefer having a small group of friends.

The love I get from everyone is the reason I have all the fancy things. The rich kids gift them to me. Many even asked me out, but I kindly declined their proposals. I don't want anyone to date me because of my fame, haha.

Anyways, that was a little introduction about me. Now I will tell you all what had happened to me.

I have, well, had, a childhood best friend. I loved her so bad and thought she did too, but I was wrong, very very wrong!

Her name was Yulia.

We had known each other since kindergarten. She was the quiet, and I have to say, the pretty one out of us two. She was like my sister, soulmate, princess, advisor but I guess these posts had no value for her.

Yulia was a snack.

I am sure whoever reads this won't believe what she did to me, but hey, I wouldn't believe it either.

I don't at all know how I ended up in her trap, but the story went like this.

I opened my eyes and found myself in my school uniform. I was sitting on a chair. My eyes popped out from the sight I saw. It was Yulia, she looked exactly like me.

The eyes.

The nose.

The lips.

The jawline.

The hairstyle.

The clothes.

Not a single detail was left that did not match me.

A devilish smile was playing on her lips. Behind her was another person. I can't recall their look because I was so shocked by Yulia's appearance. I do recall, though, that they were in all black and that they were wearing a black mask.

It took me a few minutes to realize that we were in a library. On my right, at a good distance, were the shelf ends, and on my left was the opening where sunlight was entering. It was a vintage-themed library, but I had no time to admire it.

Anyways, the only thing which Yulia did not have similar to me was my voice.

The girl was laughing and telling me that she can finally get the love she wanted. She told me that she did not like the fact that everyone loved and favored me. She envied the gifts which were gifted to me.

Yulia did everything to outshine me, but she failed. So, she went with her last plan which was to take over my life. With the help of her 'partner,' she was able to do so. Just one thing was left, which was to take my voice.

She told me that I will be trapped in this library for the rest of my life and there was no way that I can escape it.

Library? Snorts, that's the lamest place to keep a hostage. Not to mention she didn't even bother to tie my hands and legs.

Of course, I wasn't going to just sit there and watch her talk gibberish.

I got up and ran outside the entrance gate but was welcomed by some more shock. A cold breeze welcomed me. My sight went to the sky. It was white. There were clouds in the sky. In front of me were old vintage books.

They looked so big.

Too big, to be honest.

I stood there only for a few milliseconds because behind me Yulia was chasing me. I had to act quickly, and my eyes went to the corner where there was a stash of books which led to the top of these books. I immediately ran towards it.

I grabbed the bookmarks which were coming out of the book and attempted to climb. It was tough but I finally did. Yulia was just a few inches away from me. When I reached the top I thought it would be easy to run, but I was totally wrong.

It was so hard to walk. It felt like something was pushing me backward, and my energy went down gradually.

I walked.

I crouch walked.

I got on my knees.

I was moving like a worm against the books at this point.

Yulia was not exempted from this either. She too faced the same issue, but her main goal was catching me. The girl grabbed my legs and sometimes my hair, but I fought back.

There was a booby trap as well. There were lots of envelopes, sellotapes and some old written letters. They were such a burden as they prevented me from moving forward.

However, I managed to continue.

Finally, I reached the end and was shocked to see a dead end.

What shocked me even more was that we were in the literal sky. There was nothing below me. Just a simple light blue abyss.

Yulia was now attacking me. Some scratches formed on my legs as I attempted to kick my legs.

"Where are you going to run now, b-tch?!"

I still remember the words she said.

The pain was getting a little unbearable for me and I do not know what I was thinking, but I saw a thin red bookmark. I grabbed it and decided to jump. Yes, I decided to jump. Call me a psycho, but that actually saved me.

When I jumped, Yulia followed me and almost fell down. She held tightly to my feet. I attempted to stand on the small wood made edge, and I did. Yulia shouted at me to help her get up.

But I knew, it was not possible because of how small the 'boundary' was. It was half of my feet. If I had ducked down and reached out to help her, I would have fell with her.

And I am sure Yulia knew this as well.

Yulia began shouting abusive words at me. She insulted me and my family. I decided to shout back, but I couldn't. I kept my hand on my throat and tried again, but it didn't work. I couldn't talk.

Yulia began chuckling like a maniac, and that is when I heard it. I heard my voice, but it was coming from Yulia's mouth instead.

She stole my voice! That ugly b-tch!

I was mad. I was raging. I began shaking my feet aggressively to release her grip from them. Finally, she did so, and she fell down.

The echo of her voice rang in my ears.

Sorry, the echo of my voice rang in my ears.

Yulia is now gone.

I stood there for some time. Breathing heavily. Not an inch I felt bad for her. She was going to kill me anyway. But I knew I was not out of danger just yet.

Her partner was still here and alive.

That was my story. I am back inside the library now. I had realized that I have shrunk in size. I am the size of a literal aunt. This library is huge and there is so much to explore as well. I am hiding between two books, laying in a upside down V shape against one another.

I don't have anything with me right now. I need to find some food and water. I also have to find a way out of here. I never felt this lonely.

One thing I will surely do when I return is talk. A lot.

YUNA
