The Teacher's Werewolf
9.
Charlotte Ivy
My eyes opened and I rubbed away the sleep in my eyes. I pushed myself up and looked at my surroundings, I placed my hand on my rapidly beating heart in relief as I realized it was just a dream.
I don't know what I would of done if Charlie's fiance actually did walk in on us. But then this made me realize that Charlie accepting the fact that we're mates may be a dream as well?
It isn't, Charlotte. Winter said, but her words did nothing to stop my panicking.
Can you not tell the difference between reality and a dream? Stop panicking, also I will prove it to you when we get to school, because you have maths today.
Winter's words reminded me that there was school, and I quickly jumped out of bed to the bathroom and got myself ready by brushing my teeth, throwing my hair up into a tight ponytail and slipping on my skinny jeans and a white crop top.
Once I jumped on the school bus, I sat down and allowed my thoughts to take over as they drifted to Charlie.
I couldn't but notice that Charlie was so handsome, his brown and wavy hair was so soft, his lips so kissable, his eyes are just... gorgeous.
I could tell that I was sighing dreamily whilst looking out the window as if I was in a music video.
The bus journey went quickly since I was so deep in my thoughts thinking about Charlie, which reminded me when I had maths. I checked my timetable as I stepped off of the bus and watched my step as I continued to look at my timetable.
I had Maths first period. Yay me. I was happy to see Charlie, but nervous as well.
I walked towards the school entrance, still earning a few stares from people in packs, whilst the humans just walked past me without a glance.
I didn't mind being invisible, less drama for me.
I walked towards my maths class, eager to see Charlie, and once I stepped into the class I could smell his scent, mixed with another.
It was an empty classroom, but Charlie and I'm guessing his fiancé were talking, his fiancé looked nothing like what she did in my dream.
"Oh, sorry, Charlie one of your students are here." His fiancé giggled as they broke from the kiss, Charlie's head snapped towards me and his eyes immediately filled with guilt.
My eyes watered, but I blinked away the tears.
Don't cry. Don't cry. Don't cry.
"I'll see you laters, honey." She kissed Charlie's cheek and jealously poured through me, I was angry and hurt.
"Charlotte I'm so so-" I turned my back to him and walked to my seat.
"Save it, you haven't told her yet, I get it." I bit my trembling lip as I pulled out my book.
"Its not that easy to break up with someone I've known for so long Charlotte, you have to understand from my point of view." I looked up from my book and into his eyes.
My heart broke once I saw the way he looked whilst speaking about her. "You love her." I said, not like a question, but a fact.
Charlie took a deep breath in, "Of course I do." He said quietly, knowing I would be able to hear him.
I stayed strong, even though my heart was aching and my chest was becoming tighter.
He won't feel the full bond with you until you mark or mate with him, you know this Charlotte, it's not that he doesn't like you, it's just he doesn't feel the way that you're feeling because he doesn't understand. Winter explained, and I was glad I had her as my wolf. She was smart, understood things that I couldn't.
