CHAPTER 1 : A FAMILIAR FACE

Carl's POV

"I'M DONE!" I screamed at her "I'M SO DONE WITH YOU BETH!"

She gave the puppy eyes but that won't work this time "But babe...."

"DONT BABE ME! I CAN'T JUST BE SILENT AND BE YOUR PET WHILE YOU'RE FUCKING AROUND WITH MULTIPLE WOMEN AND USE ME WHEN YOU'RE BORED! I'M NOT YOUR FUCKING TOY!"

"Don't you dare leave me Carl" She said in a low threatening tone.

"Or what? Do what you can. I'm out of here and we're over." I throw the promise ring that she gave me away and walked out of her apartment. I finally got my freedom.

Now it's time to party. I called a cab to get to the nearest gay bar.On the way there I picked up my bestfriend, Alex.

Now let me introduce myself. I'm Carla, people close to me call me Carl. I'm 19 and I'm a college student, well about height it's a secret.

We arrived at the bar and got in without a trouble because this place belongs to Alex's brother.

Alex smiled and hugged me "I'm happy that you finally got rid of that bitch,C"

I smiled at her and got out of the hug "Me too"

"Let's party tonight and make you forgot those toxic memories"

And Alex ordered some vodka shots and the night went by drinking and dancing and drinking and repeat.

It's 2am and we decided to leave the bar. Alex decided to go with a girl she met in bar so I'm on my own. Since my house is 4 blocks away, I decided to walk home.

"Hey dyke!" I heard from behind me. Before I could turn around I feel a heavy pain on the back of my head and I fell to the ground. I felt a crowd of homophobic people kicking me whilst saying hateful words.

I tried moving but I can't feel my body and the amount of alcohol that I consumed not helping at all. So I waited till they're done.

I laid there. On the pavement looking at the Sky wishing for someone to help without judging. I felt the world getting dark.

Before it gets completely dark I saw a light and through the direction of the light came a girl....an...angel....and her face...a familiar face...Getting close to me, I tried reaching for the face but I couldn't and darkness consumed me....
