Chapter 10 : I'm Comfortable With You

Carla's POV

We're at a fast food restaurance in the city. Ash sat beside me and we ordered our food. 

She showed me the places we'll be going today and one from them caught my attention.

This place is mesmerizing but I wanted to know where is this..."What is this place?"

I felt a hand wrap around my waist and her scent hit me hard as she got close to my ears..."It's Charlie's Comfort place" She still go by that name?

Not being able to question what she means by that, I looked at out through the window to the view outside the restaurant.

I was frozen in the position that I was sitting as her lips comes in contact with my neck from behind.

"There...are people...here..." I told her while holding her other hand that's wrapped around my neck. "Do we care?" She replied.

Ash looked up from kissing my neck in the direction of the people in the restaurant. All heads turned down towards their food, with a satisfied smirk on her face, she continued what she was doing...

That didn't last long as her phone went off....

Ash's POV

I walked back into the restaurant after th call.

As I sat down, I noticed that my pup has been zoning out...I wonder what's bothering her...

"You wanna tell me something baby?"

She's hesitating... With a look of discomfort in her eyes...

Is it about her past?

"Baby girl...." she looked at me as I held her face in my hand.

"Wanna talk about it?"

"I mean I don't care about how you were in the past because in the past but I care about what happened in the past to make sure your safety....to protect you...I've lost you once babe...I can't afford to go through it again...I don't wanna risk losing you again...I will always want to listen to you....will you let me do that, My Queen?"

Her eyes are getting glossy...is she gonna cry? Shit...did I say something wrong?

" You love me that much? "

Looking down, I nod my head...

"I love you babe...I will tell you..."

"Tell me when you feel comfortable baby..." I said to make her feel better because I don't want to force it out of her if she's not comfortable with me.

"I trust you babe and I'm more comfortable with you... compared to the people I've been with in my past..."

I looked at her...

"You sure honey?"

She looked me in the eyes....

"I'm comfortable with you"
