Chapter 13 : I Won't Let Anyone Hurt You

Ash's POV

"Any update on finding her?" Ben looked at me from his laptop trying to trace out the locations.

"We can't find the exact location ma'am but we did found some places that she have went to..."

Now that caught my attention...

"What are those places?"

Ben searched through his files and brought up a bunch of papers

"She has been in...the local medical shop downtown, the gay bar and a local hotel in downtown which she checked out the day we got to find out the messages....so according to our observations...shes been in downtown a few days ago"

That's a good information "So it's possible that she's either there and if she have moved to some other places she couldn't have went far....good job Ben"

Third Person's POV

"So Get 20 of our boys to go around downtown and have an eye on that area and look for her, and 40 of our boys to cover the area around downtown including the woods"

Ash said with a serious look on her face whilst A very confused looking Carl came out of the bedroom with a blanket with her.

"Okay guys, get back to your work" Ash dismissed them and looked at Carl wondering why she's awake in middle of the night.

"Ashy....where did you go...." Carl curled up in Ash's lap and wrapped blanket around them.

"Nowhere pup, just caught up with some work, why are you awake honey?"

With a pout on her face, Carl replied hitting Ash's chest "I just missed you idiot! You left me alone in that big bed of yours..."

"Awww baby...come"

Ash cuddled Carl on the couch and start playing with her hair while tapping her back like doing for a baby as slowly Carl fell asleep on her chest.

Hearing the cute soft snore from Carl, Ash went into deep thoughts.

Looking at a peacefully sleeping Carl, Ash felt something.

"I won't let anyone hurt you pup"
