The cold wind entered a hallway in the hotel and flowed through the veil of a mysterious figure. Quiet, eerie footsteps delicately echoed across the blue-lit rooms, dragging claws across the walls, letting a horrible shriek cry out from the wood. A small old candle lacking a flame was held loosely in a chilly hand. Reaching into a worn-down cabinet, two halves of a mysterious artifact were picked up. The figure sat down and held the two pieces just slightly apart, oddly careful not to connect them.

"What has been going on with you,

        mother?"

Guiding Light had fallen asleep again. Her neck and back were sore from her poor posture. She was already quite desensitized to the feeling, though. When was she not sore and in pain? She looked at the mess of scrolls and spilled ink surrounding her. She was so close, yet so far. She yearned to any god that may have been listening to ease her stress.

Then, she felt a command surge through her body. Instantly exiting her limbo and hobbling over the hotel lobby, she was met with two Virtue angels and one odd-looking celestial she couldn't quite see from behind. Getting on her knees and bowing, she listened to what they had to say.

"Gudiar Lumi, Minor Angel of the First Choir," The angel decorated with eyes began, "You have been selected to foster a demon in its Ritual of Forgiveness. It does not remember its name, however, I trust that you and this being may compliment each other in your differences and assist in your job."

Guiding Light quickly looked back to see who was the demon she was fostering. However, it wasn't yellow as she had hoped. It was a burgundy humanoid with some odd shape behind it.

"It shall assist you in raising and monitoring the souls, while we ask that you take on the role of repairing the souls." The angel covered in wings that shrouded its features elaborated.

The two bowed and announced their titles and names before stepping out into the darkness of the soon-to-be dawn.

Now getting a clear view of the demon, she could see that it was a dark-skinned humanoid with pink hair and... terrifyingly large arms. Its burgundy suit looked beautiful, especially complimenting its skin and hair, however, its arms extended far behind itself, multiple times the size of its body. Massive veins and even arteries could be seen bulging just below the skin, with large hands almost chubby enough to look like paws. To add onto its ominous appearance, it seemed to have its eyes permanently closed, and it looked weirdly ecstatic. It didn't seem to be affected by the terrors of Hell in any way, almost empty, devoid of any emotion besides its eerie joy.

"Greetings, Gudiar Lumi." It tilted its head.

"...Hello. What should I call you?" Guiding Light inquired.

        "...Revive. I am Revive."

Scrolling on his phone, Feywi occasionally took videos of his surroundings. He hadn't encountered anything yet, but he was prepared. His co-workers on The Crossing had asked him to investigate this seemingly abandoned hotel. It had been reported to experience strange phenomena that could only be explained by celestials. However, it was also known that no one who entered ever exited. Feywi knew he was on a suicide mission, but he didn't quite care. As long as his findings were seen on The Crossing, he had done his job.

It appeared to be your average old, abandoned hotel. Sure, its structure was odd, but it seemed quite ordinary. Mould infested every corner and dirt decorated the floors. What was most out of the ordinary, was that it was quite clean. Clothes and utilities didn't clutter the floors, and the desks barely had anything in them either.
