Blue huffed and sighed in pain as he dragged himself painfully up Mt. Silver. Many thoughts rushed through his head wearily warning him this was a terrible idea. He couldn't help but wonder if The Copy was going to betray him, it wouldn't be unlike him.

Blue glanced next to him. Gliding carelessly without any difficulty was Blue's own image of the very thing tethered to him.

Blue hated the fact that now this thing could show up to him outside of his dreams or mirrors. He felt so insane. he really was getting worse wasn't he? He didn't want to talk to it.

This felt wrong. Everything about it. The Copy, this journey up this cursed mountain, and killing his own flesh and blood. Maybe this was all just him? Some stupid dream meant to torment him while stuck in bed with a fever? Blue wished and prayed that this genuinely was a dream.

He kept trekking up the mountain, feeling the weight of that creepy smile from Copy. "There's only a little more ways to go... Aren't you excited Blue? To finally beat your rival?" Its enthusiasm was sour and bitter to the taste.

Arceus, would this fungus ever shut the fuck up?

"So mean.. You do realize I can hear what you are thinking about Blue. You can't hide your feelings from me. I know you don't trust me. But believe me this. ALL of this, is worth it in the end." It playfully grinned, taking amusement intruding Blue's thoughts.

No privacy? The mean one here is you. Cruel individual, that was my only family I had left.

"That was ALLLLLLL you Blue. I only told you to! You CHOSE to make the final blow. You can't pin that one on me." It winked at Blue sadistically.

How much farther? I'm tired of your games.

"Not long. We are almost to the top. I have eyes on our Red right now. He's waiting for us." It spun around as if it was excited, to see this unfold exactly how as planned.

He'd finally made it to the top. Red was right where The Copy told Blue he would be. Blue was out of breath. In his exhaustion he was able to mutter a few things to Red. "I won't lose, I am going to beat you. Once and for all! I'll make you feel the humiliation I've had to endure all this time!"

Red tipped his hat, glaring at Blue. It was obvious to tell just how pissed he was.

Blue didn't know why, and simply didn't care. He hoped that this would go in his favor. Blue knew he couldn't go back home, he'd have to be on the run for the rest of his life. He raised up a Pokéball, knowing this would most likely be the last time he battled Red.

Red did the same. He dropped his pokéball to send out his first pokéball. Angrily Red signed at Blue.

<I KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE DONE>

The battle commenced, the two of them trying their absolute hardest to beat the other. Two different motives to why they each needed this win.

One for revenge against the sickness and the death of his Pokémon.
The other to revenge the Professor in which he'd seen his last moments.

The two had each knocked down the other's Pokémon one by one, finally leaving the two of them with one more Pokémon.

The final blow was made by Red, making Blue's last Pokémon faint.

Blue felt frustrated, this wasn't how this was supported to go. He was promised a win. After all this time was he really just this weak???

"I promised you a win, and I promise I'll get you that win..." The Copy whispered in Blue's ear.
