After leaving the dungeons, Prince Jin enters the throne to find his dear husband Xie'er pacing around. Just when he was about to utter a word, the Scorpion King suddenly threw a chair against a wall. Due to his strength, the chair exploded into pieces of impact.

Shocked by this outburst, he rushes in and gently puts his hands on Xie'er shoulders. "Why dear, what is wrong? What is troubling you?"

"I had a clear shot, the iron pierced his flesh. It was beautiful the way he fell into the river and over the falls...Everything was going so well."

Prince Jin glances around the room for any sign of Wen Kexing's body. The guards had strict instructions that once they found his body in the river, they were to bring it to the two kings immediately. When he can't find the body he asks, "Then, where is his head?"

Like Xie'er was still lost in a trance, he continued, "But...there was something else. Another creature. It pulled him out of the depths of the sea."

Perplexed, Prince Jin asks, "...what did it look like?"

"Him. It carried him up into the sky...and just when I thought that was the last of it, I DISCOVER THAT HE IS NOT ALONE!" Xie'er's eyes blazed like molten fire, his hands itching to do something...anything, to rid him of this feeling. But he knows he wouldn't be satisfied until his father's killer was rid of this world.

"Xie'er, Xie'er, no matter. We will kill every last one of them until Wen Kexing is the only one left. And then we will finally have our revenge."

This sudden remark seems to jolt Xie Wang out of his trance, bringing clarity to his thoughts. "How is progress being made with my dear brother? Did he accept our offer yet?"

A dark flush stains Prince Jin's face as he recalls his former fiancée's act of spitting blood at him. "No...not yet. But I've sent my best man to pursue him."

"You know, if you need any assistance, I can always have Du Pusa or myself pay him a visit. I'd love to get to know him more." The Scorpion King touches his husband on the shoulder almost as if in comfort as a coy smile reaches his face.

Gently brushing off the touch, Prince Jin feels a touch of embarrassment that the Scorpion King thinks he can't handle Zhou Zishu. "I appreciate it, dear, but this is a personal matter I feel I need to take care of." Their marriage was strategic, not borne out of affection, both in agreement until their shared goal was achieved. He does not want the scorpion to poison him, but can't afford to offend the Scorpion King so he must play nice for the time being.

"Of course." Although, the Scorpion King knows that Zhou Zishu will never break under pressure. That was perhaps where their similarities ended, as they were meticulously trained by their father to become exceptional leaders, grooming the best commander to follow in his footsteps when the time arose.

On this note, the two rulers of Ulstead could only give each other a bloodthirsty smile. With newfound determination, he addresses his husband, "Right. Tell the iron forges to work double time. We must be ready for war. He will come back, and this time I will be the one that will make sure we put that beast down. Permanently."

"How long has this heavyweight been asleep? What is he, Sleeping Beauty?"

"Ye Baiyi! Don't talk to him like that. It's a miracle he's still alive with the amount of iron that was in his system."

"Sir, I'm sure it's only a matter of time before he wakes up. All of his wounds have successfully healed with no sign of infection. Chengling and I will continue to set his strained wing and it will make a full recovery."

"Tsk. The high and mighty Wen Kexing looks as docile as a cat while he sleeps, and I've grown tired while waiting. Chengling, continue to inform me of his progress. Cao Weining, follow me. Your clan leader has requested to speak with you."
