" So, what do you plan to do now?" Halfway through hazel thought of something and asked, "I want to ask you something. You married Joseph just like that, are you guys...."

"He despises me because IM ugly. We're cold as ice." Paige knew what she was asking. So, she said directly.

"Ugh, as if he is better. He can't perform and despise others foe being ugly. I told you the ugly will cause trouble. Just don't pretend anymore and dress well. You'll surely blind his eyes with your beauty  !" Recently Hazel was shooting a movie about taking revenge, that's why she loved counter attacks.

Paige could not help but burst into laughter, "No need foe that. We're actually very fine now."

They respected each others place and they also didn't interfere with each other's business. It was the best arrangement she could ask for.

The two of them chatted for a while, before Hazel manager called her, "I'll be there in a while."

Before she left, she rushed to pay the bill.

No matter how much Paige jumped, neither she was as tall as her nor her hand longer than hers. So, in the end, Hazel won.

though she was typically loud and boyish, she was very attentive to the minor details.

She knew that Paige didn't earn much so whenever they dine together, she would always find a means to pay for it.

Paige felt both touched and sad about it.

Hazel knew all her secrets and the issues of the Moore family.

Long ago, Hazel said that she shouldn't hope much from her family, especially from her mother, Alyssa. "The more you put yourself down, the more they think that they could get better of you. You shouldn't allow yourself to be bullied like that!"

However, paige didn't believe that. She held the hope that if she tried hard enough, if she followed them more, they'd finally accept her.

It was until she was forced to marry into the Dawson family, she realized that no matter what she did, they wouldn't accept her.

But even at this point, not only were they unsatisfied, but also wanted to make use of her.

paige was about to take a taxi back to Joseph's villa when she received a call from Alyssa. As soon as the name 'Mom' flashed on the screen her face darkened immensely.

Why was she calling now ?

She pressed the answer button and put it beside her ear, "Hello?"

Alyssa's voice was unusually warm, "paige, can you come home for dinner?"

At this critical moment when the whole internet was scolding her, Alyssa was actually so caring to give her a call. Obviously, she did it for purpose. Paige rejected and said calmly, "I don't have time. I'm very busy."

"You're jobless now. What are you busy with?" Aysaa didn't expect her to reject so directly. This was the first time her daughter had disagreed her order. "Come home for dinner ! the whole family is here....."

"I don't know if you've forgotten but I am now the member of the Dawson family."paige directly cut off Alyssa's words.

hearing this Alyssa was furious and yelled, "Does a daughter speak to her mother like that ""
