My eyes stared at the ceiling until I counted all the popcorns sticking from it. The bags under my eyes were full of groceries due to the minimal sleep I got last night.

I groaned as I slowly lifted my torso from the comfort of the pillow and bed. The clock above my door read the time as 10:32...

TEN!?

I ripped the blanket off my warm body and ran to my bathroom. I threw off my clothes and immediately got into the shower which I took five minutes in. I slapped on some deodorant, ran a brush through my tangled hair and straightened it to the best of my ability with the limited time I had. I threw my shoes on and fixed the bows in my hair before running out of my dorm without my glasses on, just so they knew I wasn't dead. I ran into the dining hall and was greeted by relieved gasps.

"OH MY GOD MIRAIIIIIII!!!!!!!!" Sachi ran up to me and hugged me, which I kindly shoved her off. "NOT A HUGGER!? THAT'S OKAY!! WE WERE SO WORRIED!!!!!" Tears escaped her eyes as she looked down at my wide eyes.

"U-um.."

"What? Are you okay?"

Everyone's eyes...

Why are they all looking at me?

I don't like this.

Stop.

Stop.

STOP.

"STOP LOOKING AT ME!!!"

Before I knew it, I was out the door and breathing heavily in the nearest bathroom. I looked at my reflection, and all the details. The images of everyone's eyes on me... it was so anxiety inducing.

The big door slowly opened as I saw a head peek in.

"Hello?" Shikumo said. "I know this is the girl's bathroom, but can I come in? I'd like to talk..." he said hopefully.

"Sure..?" My confusion was higher than me at a a party drinking my issues away.

He fully entered. He walked up close to me, but not too close, and pulled out some flash cards. He cleared his throat before saying, "I am sorry we all overwhelmed you. I could tell you were anxious and didn't like all of us staring at you. Don't worry, you can come back, and we won't hurt you. There is no reason to be embarrassed." He smiled to himself like he was proud he said all that. But while he did, I could tell he meant what he said. His eyes looked at me with care.

"Um... thanks, Shikumo.. I think I'm okay to go out now." I smiled at him relieved that everyone here is so kind and understanding.

He held the door open and I thanked him as I walked out. I walked into the dining room with them, and nobody blinked an eye. But Sachi walked up to me and fiddled her fingers.

"I'm really sorry I hugged you without permission," she started, looking truly guilty. "I didn't mean to be mean, we were all just so worried, a-an-"

"It's okay, Sachi. I'm fine." I smiled up at her.

She looked back and smiled, sighing of relief. "Oh good. I didn't want you to hate me forever, hehe."

"You're so sweet, I could never!! I know you never had any ill intentions, I just got caught up in the moment." My autistic ass at it again...

"Aw, thank you!! I'm glad you understand.." the silence was louder than 1,000 baseballs hitting someone in the face.

"Hey, wanna hang out later? During free time?" I asked.

"Oooh yess!!!"

When free time started, I headed straight for the library, where me and Sachi planned to meet up. She was already there when I arrived.

"Hey!!" She said brightly.

"Hey. Sorry if I made you wait forever."

"You're good, I just got here!" She giggled.

"Oh, mmkay." I sat down next to where she was sitting, a small table with comfy chairs.

"So, if you're not comfortable, you don't have to tell me," she started. "But I was curious. Why did you feel so overwhelmed this morning?"

"Well.." I thought about what to do. Do I tell her about it? Or... y'know what, she's trustworthy. She'll understand. "I got diagnosed with autism when I was 12, so 5 years ago. I've always struggled with others looking at me or the attention being on me. It really makes me anxious. Obviously, I didn't expect you to know, so I'm not upset at anyone. But I really hate that." I looked down at my feet.

"Oh no!! I'm sorry you have to go through hard times like that!! I'll always be here to talk if you need." She said, concerned, but with a genuine kindness in her tone.

"Thanks, Shikumo. That means a lot." I looked up, but avoided eye contact. I smiled softly.

"Of course!!" She giggled.

"You know, you care a lot about those around you. But do you take care of yourself?" I asked. "You just seem very caught up with other's emotions all the time."

"Um.." she said, a head of sweat falling down to her chin, and eventually dropping into her tense lap. "Of course! It's good to luck for others, but always look after yourself!"

For some reason, that doesn't seem very honest.

Me and Sachi chatted about our respective ultimates and how we started what we did. Until I told her I had business elsewhere, and she let me go.

Recently, there's been something on my mind, keeping me from my precious beauty sleep. I stormed to their dorm and rang the doorbell, disappointed I couldn't aggressively bang on their door.

"AMY!!!!!!!! YOU IN THERE!?!?!?!"

Amy opened his door looking down at me, horrified. "Jesus, what do you want!?"

"I need to talk to you."

"Now? I'm with Ishibuko; we're busy."

"Does it look like I give a fuck? Get your ass over here. We. Need. To. Talk. NOW."

"Ugh, fine!" He closed the door, looking down at me with crossed arms. I leaned on the wall behind me. "What do you want!?"

"There was something from the trial that hasn't sat with me right. I completely overlooked it, but I need to know. During the trial, when Chidori was explaining, he said you had joined him in the kitchen before Airi, Shikumo, Haruka and Ari showed up. But before that, you said you were asleep the whole time... that clearly doesn't add up."

Amy smirked and had a deep chuckle. "To spice things up. I lied."

"Huh?"

"I wanted to make this game interesting." (A/N: like father like daughter 😰)

"Game...?"

"The killing game? Are you unaware of the situation you're in? Are you dumb?"

"No, but.. games are supposed to be fun. This is a fucking nightmare. How do you find this as entertaining? Who hurt you?"

Amy looked down at me, sighed, and walked into her dorm, slamming the door shut, jump scarring me shitless.

The 10:00 announcement finally came after resting in my room for some time. I brushed my teeth and got ready for bed before lying my fat, juicy ass down.

I sighed, shutting my eyes after curling up in my warm blankets. It's good to know the people here really care...

At least some, anyway.
