The clock suddenly hit 3:00. It's crazy I managed to stay up that late.

I stood up and gently opened the door, making sure to keep my volume low. I walked down the hall, my anxiety high, my heartbeat a mile a minute. Yet I found myself at classroom 1-A. I opened the door, seeing two people stand in front of me.

"You're late." Amy said.

"Deal with it," I said walking to a table to sit on. "What do you want?"

"Now that Mirai is here, can you please elaborate, Amy?" Aiko asked.

"Fine." They sighed. "I propose an idea."

"I'm listening..." I said, crossing my arms.

"We form an alliance. The three of us have skills that would be unmatched when together."

"Oh yeah?" I asked

"I have the brains, Aiko has the kindness, and you, Mirai, have at least a little bit of social skills. No matter how disrespectful you can be, you have the ability to make friends regardless. If you can get as many people on your side, me and Aiko can make a seriously good plan."

"What's the point of this alliance?" Aiko asked.

"Well, Aiko, we'll stay protected. Mirai will help us with getting people to like us enough to not kill us, and we can stay together in groups, making sure not to kill anyone else."

He finished.

I pondered for a while. Was it really worth it? I mean, I hate Amy, but Aiko's a good friend. But why does Amy think this is a good idea? It'd make much more sense if Aiko proposed this. Amy prefers to be by themselves...

"Don't you prefer to work alone? This is very suspicious, Amy." Aiko asked before I could say anything.

"Normally, yes. But having a secret alliance like this one will be beneficial."

So, Amy is just doing this for themselves? She just wants protection? I guess that makes sense.

"Aiko, can I talk to you for a moment?"

"Uh, sure. We'll be back, Amy."

The two of us walked out and shut the door. "So what are your thoughts?"

"You know, I'm not sure," Aiko seemed uncomfortable and anxious about this. "Amy isn't very trustworthy at the moment. They've done a lot of things I'm not sure I necessarily agree with."

"I agree, but at the same time, we really need protection in this game. Smart people are going to go out first. Now, I'm not very smart, but you two are, and I think that at least for you it'll be beneficial. And since you're my friend, I'll help you out with the social stuff. If you agree, you're guaranteed to be safe. But if you don't, the two of us could still have an alliance."

Aiko thought about everything. It took them a moment before speaking up. "Having Amy on our side would be pretty good, considering they're smart and can persuade people and make good decisions. So the 3 of us would be a powerhouse of an alliance... I'm in if you're in."

We smiled at each other before stepping back in the classroom. "We're in." I said.

Amy smirked. "Perfect." He walked to the door before pushing us both out of the way before walking out and probably back to his dorm.

Aiko and I eventually made our farewells, and walked back to our rooms.

What a crazy night.

The next morning, I woke up with absolutely no sleep. Maybe an hour. I didn't even get ready and walked out into the dining room.

"Wow. You look like shit." Ishibuko laughed.

"Shut up. I got, like, no sleep." I complained, getting breakfast and sitting next to Chidori.

"Are you okay?" He asked.

"Yeah, I just want to go to bed."

"Too bad." Amy said.

"Oh, shut up." Of all people, I really thought he would understand. What was I thinking?

"You know, I didn't get very much sleep, either, Mirai." Aiko said. We both shot subtle death glares at Amy.

"Huh. I wonder why." They replied.

"Well, anyways, does anyone have any plans for today?" Tomoka asked, completely ignoring the tension from the three of us.

"Not that I know of." Reo replied.

"So, now what?" Ari asked.

"Eh, let's just hang to ourselves for free time. At least that's what I'm doing. I need a fucking nap." I said, my head hitting my arms on the table.

"I-I think after the last few days of socializing, we all need some time to ourselves, huh?" Marjie said with a sad smile.

"Hm. Aiko, Mirai, come with me for a moment." Amy stood up and walked towards the kitchen.

I sighed, walking with them. "If you keep pulling us aside, this secret alliance won't be so secret." I whispered.

"This is a one time thing. Listen, Mirai, lock your door and set up blockage. We can't have any risks. Aiko, you and me will be staying not only the two of us, but with Chidori as well."

"I can't sleep without anxiety!? Why am I so shocked at this..?"

"Works for me. If he can't, just ask others until they say yes. Someone will."

We walked back to the table and sat down. The others looked fairly suspicious, but we had good poker face's, and they couldn't tell the difference.

"Chidori, would you like to hang out with me and Amy?" Aiko asked.

"I was going to hang out with Marjie..." He said quietly.

"Oh. Ishibuko?" They looked over at the tired boy a few seats down.

He shrugged. "Okay."

"Okay, bye. Wake me up if someone died or if you need me. Please don't, though." I stood up and lazily walked out, which triggered the dispersion of the others.

I got back to my dorm and shut the door behind me, sighing as my back trailed down the door until I sat in front of it tiredly. I reached above me to lock it, and bring my desk chair to hold the door handle down. I yawn and stretch before getting back into bed, but I felt unnerved. It was an unnerved feeling I had never felt before. I felt like someone was watching me.

No sleep for me again...
