Meeting Her For The First Time- Angela/OFC

You were a new cast member, and the first person you met was Shayne and Amanda. They warned you about Angela, who you knew all about, but they said she was crazier and more "feral" in person.

I was nervous, of course I was. It was my first day on the job, it was also the day of the introductions. I had met a few of the cast members already for a chemistry reading, and to see if I could be funny at a drop of the hat. That wasn't the first time doing that, I was a standup comedian and a pretty well-known one at that. Not that I'm tooting my own horn, I hated bragging. On the first introduction day, I met Courtney, Shayne, Amanda, Ian, and Anthony. Well, I met Ian and Anthony during my audition, and now I had to meet the rest of the cast. Walking in, Amanda and Shayne came over, smiles on their faces. "Hey, Leah! Welcome to your kind of first day of work, remember our warning?" I nodded, smiling at them. Amanda was intimidating because of her height, I was pretty short, standing at only 5'1. Shayne wasn't that intimidating, he was a cool dude who was obviously really nice. 

"Hey guys! Yeah, Angela is really crazy and loud but she's super sweet. I don't mind, like I told you guys." They laughed and Amanda wrapped her arm around my shoulders, "If someone gives you trouble, let us know ok?" I nodded, "I usually only get asked if I'm old enough to be here, though I'm twenty-eight." Amanda shook her head with a laugh, "Shocks me every time," Shayne rolled his eyes, "Every time, Manda? She's told you like four times!" She laughed and I smiled, I was going to like working with the two of them. I was helping as a director but mainly a cast member, Ian also asked me to help write their sketches. I was honored, of course, and I also agreed. They took me to the studio, I was going to be in a TNTL episode, which made me very nervous. They let me know the themes beforehand, in case I wanted to write anything down but I said I was funnier on my own. 

I saw Angela talking to Courtney, Chanse talking to Damien and Tommy talking to Spencer. I not only had to meet the rest of the cast, I also had to meet the crew. Amanda and Shayne walked me around, letting me meet the crew that was on set. I had to look up at everyone, which made me blush profusely, I hated being so short. Once I was done meeting the crew they took me to the cast, I met Tommy first who was very welcoming. I had a feeling he would be from watching him online. I then met Chanse and Damien, Damien shook my hand and so did Chanse. Chanse gave me a subtle flick of his wrist, wiggling his eyebrows. I flicked my wrist and he let out a squeal and I looked at Amanda. She rolled her eyes, "Sorry we didn't warn you about him," I laughed softly and shrugged, "It's ok, I don't mind." They walked me over to Courtney and Angela, Courtney smiled at me and I smiled back. "Hey, Leah! It's great to see you again, hope your first day goes great!" I smiled at them, Courtney's smile could light up the planet. 

"Thanks, Courtney." I looked at Angela who had a small smile on her face, I put my hand out and she shook it. "I'm Leah, wait, you probably heard Courtney." I laughed nervously and felt my face heat up, she laughed. "I'm Angela, though you probably know that already." I nodded, "Yeah, other than watching Smosh before, Amanda and Shayne felt the need to warn me about you. Though I think it should have gone to Chanse," She playfully glared at them and laughed, "Well, whatever they warned you about, it's probably true." I laughed and smiled, I was a little nervous about meeting her, with how they warned me about her but she wasn't as bad as they said. "Also, I knew we were getting a new member, but they didn't tell me you were shorter than I am." I glared at her, "I'm not that short!" She laughed and shook her head, "Of course not, I think it's cute." I blushed and felt the words I had before get trapped in my throat, I heard someone tell us it was time to get ready for the video and we got in position.

After shooting I felt less nervous, I got quickly into the bits and I was able to throw my anxiety out the window. I think it helped I got to know everyone, I knew that was going to be the worst thing to happen today. I felt someone tap my shoulder and turned around, seeing Angela. "Hey! I just wanted to tell you did great, you were a natural." I blushed at the compliment, "Thank you, you were great too! I wanna say my stand-up background helped, but this felt different." "Stand-up?" I nodded, "Yeah I used to travel around and do standup, I doubt you heard of me. Leah Johnson?" Her mouth dropped, "I thought you looked familiar! Oh my gosh, I love your work." I blushed and we walked out of the room, heading to where we coincidentally also had to go. My next film project was to do a games video. "I didn't think anyone here would know who I was, I was hoping no one would. It's not a bad thing to be recognized, I just didn't want that to influence anyone. I was happy Ian and Anthony didn't notice, or if they did they didn't say anything." She nodded understandably. "Yeah I get that, the viewers will definitely recognize you though." I nodded, we walked in and I saw Courtney, Shayne, and Amanda already sitting on the couch. 

So far my first day hasn't gone as bad as I thought it would, meeting Angela for the first time has been a blast. I can't wait to see where my friendships go.
