I stood in front of the mirror, pulling on a plain white t-shirt, getting ready for our day of filming. We were having a small party with a few Wanted World members who won a contest to hang out with us for the day. Needless to say, I was excited.

I walked out into the main room to see Max sitting on the couch with his phone in his hands, the crew nowhere to be seen. "Where are all the cameras?"

"Waiting outside for you." He said with a laugh.

I smiled slightly, holding my phone in my hands. "The lads out there too?"

Max nodded, standing up from the couch and walking outside. I followed behind him, a smile growing on my face once I saw the crowd of fans. As we started our first game with everyone, I kept glancing at one girl standing off to the side, she seemed eerily familiar.

Ignoring what I was supposed to be doing, I approached her. As I got closer, I soon realized it was Victoria, the girl who I met just days earlier. I gently placed my hand on her arm and she looked at me, instantly making me smile. "Hey,"

Victoria smiled up at me, tucking a piece of hair behind her ear.

"It's Victoria, right?" I asked, slipping my hands into my pockets.

"Tori, actually."

I looked over as another girl walked up to us, standing next to Victoria. "I'm Taryn, her older sister."

I swallowed hard and held my hand out. "Nathan." I shook Taryn's hand, then discretely wiped it on my pants.

"She doesn't go by Victoria, she goes by Tori." Taryn said, moving her hands.

I raised an eyebrow, glancing at the boys, then back at them.

"I'm signing, you asshole."

My eyes went wide and Victoria just lowered her head. Taryn gave me a smirk, folding he arms across her chest.

"Can I talk to Victoria? Alone..." I asked quietly.

"Why? It's not like you two can communicate." Taryn snapped.

I gritted my teeth, counting to ten in my head to restrain myself from saying something rude. "We'll figure it out." I placed my hand on Victoria's shoulder and she looked up at me. "Come with me?" I held out my hand and Victoria looked at it before gently placing her hand in mine.

I walked back with Victoria inside the house, careful to keep away from the lads and the crew.

I sat down at the piano with Victoria sitting next to me. "I think better in front of a piano." I joked, letting go of her hand.

Victoria looked up at me, pointing to my front pocket.

I raised an eyebrow before I realized what she wanted. I pulled out my phone and handed it to her after unlocking it. She opened the notes and started typing away. Moments later, she showed me the phone.

"I'm sorry about my sister. She's been overprotective ever since I was bullied in middle school, by hearing boys like you. She's just looking out for me."

I bit my lip and sighed. "H-how do you say-erm, sign, 'I'm sorry'?"

Victoria made a fist with her hand, rubbing it on her chest in a circle.

I mimicked her motions and looked at her. "I'm sorry?"

Victoria nodded, smiling slightly.

I smiled, placing my hands on my lap. "S-so I'm guessing you're the Wanted World member and your sister is your plus one? Because she doesn't seem to like me very much."

Victoria giggled, before putting her hand over her mouth.

"Aw, what's wrong? You've got a cute laugh." I said.

Victoria started typing away on my phone again, showing me the screen.

"I've always been self conscious about my voice, since I can't hear myself talk."

My lips formed a small "o" shape as I rubbed the back of my neck. "Y-you don't have to be shy or nervous around me. Promise."

"Nathan?"

I looked over towards the door that led out to the backyard to see Jay standing there.

"Uh, hey mate." I mumbled, standing up from the piano bench.

"Who's um, who's your friend?"e asked, nodding to Victoria.

"Th-this is Victoria." I said, looking back at her as she stood up.

Jay nodded. "Um, Nath, can I talk to you? In private..."

I nodded and looked back at Victoria. "I'll be right back...I'll see you outside okay?"

Victoria nodded and handed me my phone before showing herself out.

Jay looked back at me, slapping me in the back of the head, knocking my hat off.

"Ow! What the hell!" I shouted, bending down to pick up my hat.

"You just can't bring girls in here during filming!" He yelled.

I looked up at him, standing up slowly. "We weren't doing anything...we were just talking. Her sister was being a bitch and I wanted to talk to Victoria myself..."

Jay put his hands on the back of his head and exhaled. "She didn't seem to say much. Is she nervous?"

I took a deep breath, fixing my hair. "Sort of...sh-she's deaf and doesn't like to talk."

"Oh...you know, I never imagined you with a deaf girl." Jay said with a laugh.

I gritted my teeth and sighed. "She's just like any other girl, just because she can't hear doesn't mean anything! God, and people think I'm the shallow one!"

"Nathan, wait!" Jay shouted after me.

I ignored him, running down to my room and slamming the door shut behind me.

I sat in my room for a while, just calming down.

After about ten minutes of sitting in silence, I decided to go back outside and rejoin everyone.

I looked around for Victoria, or even Taryn, but I couldn't find either one of them. I walked over to Jay, nudging his arm. "Do you know where Victoria is?"

Jay looked at me and shrugged. "I think she left."

The smile fell from my face. "L-left? Why?"

Jay shrugged again. "I don't know, Nathan. You're never going to see her again so why are you worrying about it?"

I bit my lip and lowered my head. Maybe Jay was right. Maybe I would never see her again.

Would she even want to see me again?

So yeah. This is terrible. Wah.
