I'm standing in front of the library once more, expecting to run into my pretty boy. Though he's not mine yet, he soon will be! This is my story, after all.
My gaze strayed over the library as I went looking for him, and YES! He was seated at the same desk as the day before. I quickly went to him without picking up a book. At moments like these, you guys can't expect my head to function correctly.
I sat in the opposite chair and that made him look over the book. "Aren't you the upside-down reader from yesterday?" he asked with a little smile. That's when I noticed his dimple, he got a dimple on one side of his cheek. "Uhm yea, but that was a mistake last time."
"Yeah mistakes happen, and it's totally fine. But seems like you are reading an invisible book today?" he asked with a cocky smile. "OH,another mistake, another mistake". I giggled in embarrassment and ran to the shelves.
'This is so embarrassing'
This routine continued for days. We barely had any conversations. We just sat across from each other at the same table, shared glances and smiles between reading. Even these simple interactions made my day. Going to the library every day was worth it, and yes I stopped borrowing books to read at home, I just started reading them in the library itself. And all of a sudden he stopped coming-
First, I thought he must not be feeling well and after a few days he might come,but he didn't. He didn't come to the library for the next few days, and during that time, I even went to the place where we bought ice cream that day. Unfortunately, there was no sign of him. Then I stopped going to the library for a few days as I already had some unfinished books.

I went back to the library to return the books, and I would be lying if i said that I didn't hope for him to be there as well. I placed the books on their respective shelves and as I turned after signing the register, my eyes caught a familiar figure walking by. Yes, it was him! But, there was a girl holding hands with
her boyfriend. I was just trying to be funny guys, they were just a couple who happened to enter the library at the same time as him.
