Chapter 16

Chaos During Training.

   Today the entire class 1 will do combined training.    All students were instructed to find partners to practice swordsmanship with wooden swords.

   I am very worried.    I remember sword training with Rylee, now that I wasn't wearing armor, I couldn't hold back my strength.    What if I hurt someone?    Is it better if I don't go?

   On the other hand, Prince Levin wanted to invite Bell, but he was less quick than Aland who invited him first.

   "Bell...will you pair up with me?"    Aland asked

   How about this?    At first I wanted to skip practice, but if I refused I would feel bad.

   "Bell... why are you daydreaming, do you want to pair up with me or not?"

   "O-Okay."    I finally agreed.

   Prince Levin saw that Bell was getting along with Aland and became a little annoyed.    After that Cristina came and asked him to pair up.

   On the other hand, it turned out that Hugo had been paying attention to Bell, he felt very annoyed because he had been embarrassed by him.  Hugo thought it was possible that Bell had used a trick or some kind of magic that could make him obey him.    he also had the intention to set him up in a duel.

   All the students seemed to have their own partners, the teacher ordered them to immediately practice.

   "Bell...have you ever studied swordsmanship before?"

   "...Yes I ever."

   "Good, then let's get straight to it, let's get started."

   How about this?  I don't want him to get hurt.

   Aland immediately attacked.    All I could do was dodge.

   He keeps dodging all my attacks?    I really didn't expect it.  Bell is really great.    Aland thought.

   Aland continued to attack him.

   I've attacked him many times our swords never touched, why isn't he attacking, what is he planning?

   "Bell...why don't you attack?"    Aland asked breathlessly.

   "That is...?"

   How do I explain it.

   When I was thinking about an answer, my attention became distracted, he suddenly attacked quickly.  I hesitated to block his sword, afraid he would be knocked away.

Finally I was hit in the arm.

   "Itaaa!"

   Hugo, who saw Bell hit by Aland's attack, thought that Bell couldn't actually do anything.   He became more and more convinced that Bell had used some kind of magic on him yesterday.

   "Bell... are you okay?"    Aland asked worriedly.

   "Don't worry, I'm fine, ahaha...ahaha..!"    I answered with a stiff smile.

   "Sorry, I thought you were going to avoid it again?"

   "No need to apologize, I was a little lost in thought."

   "Why didn't you try to attack me, even though you are good at dodging?"

   “Yeah…actually I was waiting for an opportunity.”

   I felt a little guilty for lying to him.

   "I see...let's see your arm?"

   "No need, I'm not hurt."
