Chapter 4

Blake's Pov

I finally had the courage to tell Adam how I feel about him. Turns out he feels the same way about me! My life couldn't get any better. Of course my house was still a big mess and my wife just left me, but besides that, my life was great. "Let's clean this mess up," Adam said. I agreed with him and we started cleaning. After we were done (it took us pretty long) we were both really sweaty and I have to admit I smelled pretty bad. Since it was a very hot day, we decided to go to the lake nearby my house to swim. "A friend of mine actually owns this lake." I told Adam. 

"Really?" He said. "That's pretty cool."

"Yeah. People aren't allowed to swim in the lake, or to even come close to it, without his permission, so we'll be completely on our own without anyone annoying us."

"Cool." For a while no one really said anything untill Adam said, "You know Blake we're both really stupid." 

"Why?"

"Well, I can't believe I didn't think of it before, but we're going swimming in a lake and we didn't bring towels, or even swimsuits!"

"You're right we are pretty stupid aren't we?" We both laughed at that comment, and a few minutes later we arrived at the lake. "How do we swim then?" Adam said. "Just in our clothes I guess." I said. "But this is a designer shirt! I don't want it to get wet." Adam whined. I really liked what came next. He took of his shirt and pants and jumped in the water wearing only his underwear. I had seen shirtless pictures of him on the internet, but I had never actually seen his abs in real life. His body was even more beautiful than I had ever imagined. "Your turn, cowboy!" Adam said cofidently. I slowly removed my shoes and my shirt and jeans came soon after that. Most people wouldn't expect it, but I actually have a pretty good body. I dove into the lake and swam to Adam. "It's pretty cold." Adam said while shivering. I put an arm around his muscular body and felt really comfortable in that position. "I love you Blake." Adam said. I know ge had said it before, multiple times on the Voice, but I always thiught he was joking. This time I knew he really meant it. It wasone of the best feelings in the world. "I love you too." I said and started kissing him. We must've been kissing for a pretty long time, because it was already getting dark outside.

After a while we got out of the lake and we were trying to find a way to get dry. "We could use our shirts," Adam said, even though only an hour earlier he had whined about how he didn't want to gethis designer shirt wet. "I guess," I said. After we dried of and put our clothes back on, we drove back to my place. "I should probably go home," Adam said. "After all, if we look at what Behatti did to your place, just think about what she did to mine." Adam was probably right. "I'll come with you," I said. "But what if Behatti's there? It will only make everything worse! I don't want you to get hurt Blake."

"Ha! Me getting hurt? Don't worry about me, baby. I'll just be there to protect you." Adam gave me one of his cute smiles and I couldn't help but give the guy a quick kiss on his lips, even though I was driving and anyone could've been watching us. I was so happy that it wouldn't have mattered for me.
