It's been a month and I managed to get better at my technique. It's not perfect, ofcurse, but ,with the help of Yaga and Satoru, I can manage. I told Satoru many times before that he would be a great Jujutsu teacher but he wasn't really fond of the idea.
I was laying on my bed scrolling through my phone when I received a notification from Suguru. Him, Satoru and Shoko went not to far from the city to check on Utahime and Mei Mei who were sent on a mission and haven't been back for two days. Yaga figured that I should stay and train with him, but once we finished he sent me back to take a rest.
Suguru's messages read. "We're back." "Meet us at the basketball court if you feel like it." What a dry texter. I guess he's better with his words than with his texts. I wore something comfy and headed to where the rest of my friends were. I entered the court and I found Shoko sitting on the bleachers, and Suguru and Satoru were playing basketball and talking about whatever. "No uniform, Susu? Must feel nice." Satoru said. "Sure does." I replied and sat beside Shoko at the bleachers.
"So, what were you up to earlier?" She asked. "The usual." I said, knowing that she knew what I meant. "Was training hard?" She asked again as if she didn't know already. "Yeah, but atleast I'm getting better. And he let me off earlier today." I said and she nodded, glad that I've been improving. None of us wanted to repeat what happened a few weeks ago.

I was sparring with Satoru. I had better control over my new cursed technique so training had been getting easier. "Come on, don't go easy on me! Give me your best shot." He exclaimed. "If you insist." I said and formed a hand signal, shooting the big flame at Satoru. He looked at it with a grin and quickly dodged it. He was happy that my flames were getting bigger, that way they would have more effect on my opponent.
Then, as if it all happened in slow motion, the flame passed and burned the tree that was right behind of Satoru, taking a couple of other trees with it. With some effort, Suguru managed to turn off the fire with a cursed spirit of his. We were glad that nothing more serious happened, but we were in for a scolding from Yaga.
It took me about a week, but with my friends help I regained my confidence back and I was unstoppable when it came to my training.

"How about you guys? What happened at your mission?" I asked. "Nothing, really. Just that the building collapsed on top of Mei Mei and Utahime and Gojo forgot to put up a vail. That shit was all over that news." Shoko casually said I looked at her with wide eyes.
"Yeah, but hear the funny part. The steps Utahime climbed started falling apart." Satoru started wheezing. "Toru that not nice!" I exclaimed but couldn't help but giggle a bit. Suguru chuckled too.
"I don't get it, what's the point of a vail? Why should we care if the weaklings see what's going on or not?" Satoru asked. "But it's not good if they do see them? The strongest deterrent..." Blah blah blah vails, normal humans, backstory stuff, just kiss me already- what am I thinking?!
"When are you going to stop making yourself feel better by spouting all this bullshit? Bleh!" Satoru pretended to barf. "Want to take this outside, Satoru?"
Shoko nudged me and told me that we should better leave, that's when we made our way out of the court and to the classroom.
"They're such babies." Shoko complained and made herself feel comfortable on a chair while I drew random shapes on the board. "Couldn't agree more." I commented. "Yeah, but you love them~" She teased. "No I don't."
"Yes you do."
"I don't."
"You do."
"I don't."
"You don't."
"I do- UGH just shut up!" I yelled and put the chalk back to its place.
We talked for a few minutes before I heard my phone ringing. The text "Albino boy" displayed on the screen and I immediately entered panic mode. "It's Satoru! What do I do?" I exclaimed. "Chill, just answer casually and ask him what he wants." She said and I nodded.
I pressed the little pick up button and the line started. "What do you want?" I asked and looked at Shoko for confirmation. She just face palmed. "Woah, what's with the attitude? Anyway Suguru and I are going on a mission in another city." He said. "Ok. Have fun?" I tried to form a sentence but it sounded like more of a question. "No, no you don't get it. It's a really important mission! We're gonna save the world you sh-" before he could finish his sentence, the line was cut off and I would only assume it was Suguru who hang up due to being done with whatever Satoru was yapping about. I imagined Satoru's reaction and smiled to myself.
The door suddenly opened to reveal Yaga with his usual serious face and an unknown lady beside him. "There you are, miss Susuki, we have to discuss a very important matter." He said and Shoko left.
"Sit down because this will be a rollercoaster." He said and I took a seat infront of him. "Hello, miss Susuki. My name is Matsui Hina, an investigator working with the higher ups." She introduced herself and Yaga started speaking again. "We had a meeting with the higher ups and they agreed on sending you on missions with slightly higher grade curses to improve on your technique. We're talking about first grades, semi first grades nothing too difficult." He said and I nodded. "Ok, now where's the rollercoaster part?" I asked. He sighed.
"While on the meeting with the higher ups, we discovered something about you and your family." Matsui mentioned my family and it peeked my interest. "Your... father isn't your actual father." My eyes widened.
"You're from the Furugawa clan."
