Ten's usual morning routine consisted of joking around with Yoon's parents till they left for work, then eating the leftovers her mom left specifically for him. He was in the middle of cleaning up the butter chicken from last night when a sudden knock on the door caught his attention. Rubbing the sleep from his eyes, he made his way to the entrance and swung it open to reveal Mark standing on the doorstep.

"Hey," Ten greeted, a hint of surprise in his voice. "Didn't expect to see you here."

Mark offered a weak smile in return. "I.. Yeah I wanted to um see how Yoon was doing. I like met her for a bit at uni and well yeah..." he replied, his tone hesitant.

Ten nodded, gesturing for Mark to come inside. As they settled in the living room, Ten couldn't help but feel a pang of nostalgia at the sight of his old friend. They had shared countless memories together, and despite the current circumstances, Ten found it difficult to view Mark solely as a suspect.

"How are you holding up?" Ten asked gently, concern evident in his voice.

Mark's expression darkened slightly, but he forced a semblance of composure. "I-I'm... hanging in there. I guess.." he replied vaguely, his words weighed down by the weight of unspoken emotions.

Ten nodded, understanding the unspoken implications behind Mark's response. Despite the years that had passed and the secrets that now stood between them, Ten couldn't shake the bond they had once shared. And in that moment, as he looked into Mark's troubled eyes, Ten couldn't help but feel a twinge of empathy for his old friend.

"If you ever need someone to talk to, you know I'm here, right?" he offered, hoping to break through Mark's defences.

Mark glanced up at him, a flicker of gratitude in his eyes before it was replaced by uncertainty. "Thanks hyung. I'll keep that in mind..." he murmured, before allowing his eyes to wander around the room in search of the reason he came here. Ten caught his hesitant searching eyes and chuckled.

"She is sleeping on the rooftop" Mark's brows furrowed slightly at Ten's response, a mix of curiosity and something else flickering in his eyes. "On the rooftop? Like old times?" he echoed, a hint of nostalgia tugging at his tone.

Ten nodded, gesturing for Mark to follow him up the stairs to the rooftop. As they reached the tent, they were met with the sight of Yoonseul and Donghyuck still sound asleep, tangled together in the tent. Mark's gaze lingered on them for a moment, his expression unreadable.

Ten couldn't help but notice the slight tenseness in Mark's demeanour, though he chose not to comment on it. Instead, he discreetly took out his phone and snapped a quick picture of the two, a mischievous grin playing on his lips.
