Butters Stotch was walking around town, during a cold winter's day. It was snowing hard and it made everything hard to see. Butters rubbed his hands together to keep warm, even though he was already wearing a thick green winter coat and scarf. He was just so cold and being slightly under the weather didn't help.

He had planned on staying home that day, just cuddling near the fire. Though his father had other plans. The Stotch's were out of a few important things at home, and of course Stephen thought Butters would be the perfect man to get them. So instead of cuddling in a warm blanket at home, the sixteen year old was out shopping.

"Son of a biscuit," Butters said as a gush of wind blew past him "Why does dad always make me do this stuff."

He wondered this as he walked to the local supermarket. He took out a little basket from the usaul stack and walked forward.

"Okay let's see," He said taking out the paper list, which had been crumbled up in his pocket "Okay Dad wants me to get milk and carrots and hamburger helper....and..."

Butters put the paper in his face and squinted his eyes.

"What the hell are squish nuggets?" He murmured to himself "I swear dad is going crazy."

"Whatcha doing?" Butters jumped in surprise and looked around for the voice that scared him "Butters..."

"Ahhh!" Butters squealed as Eric Cartman had suddenly stood next to him "Oh Eric it's you."

"Who else would it be?" Eric asked confused "Kim Kardashian?"

"I wish," Butters said under his breath "Anyways what are you doing here Eric?"

"Buying food..." Eric said a little confused "What else do you do at a supermarket?"

Butters shrugged and turned to be on his way.

"Wait where are you going?" Eric asked a little surprised

"Buying food," Butters said "Like you said."

"Oh well I'll join you," Eric said awkwardly walking next to him. Butters didn't react and the two continued to walk into the frozen food aisle. Butters put a few bags of cold peas and carrots into his basket. Eric didn't have a basket with him, in fact he didn't seem to have anything.

"Eric," Butters said walking into the canned food aisle "Are you buying anything?"

Eric was in a trance when Butters had asked him and suddenly jumped out of it.

"Y-yeah," He said a little embarrassed "Why wouldn't I be?"

"Well for one thing you don't have a shopping cart or even a basket," Butters observed "You don't seem to have any money either."

Eric suddenly went searching through his pockets, desperately looking for money. For he hadn't come to the market for food, he came for another reason. Butters just looked at Eric and tilted his head in confusion. Eric eventually gave up and looked at Butters.

"Uh Butters," Eric said "I guess I didn't come here to buy anything,"

"I can see that," Butters giggled as he kept strolling through the aisles, Eric not far behind.

"Well aren't you going to ask me?" Eric asked a little confused and a little desperate "Aren't you going to ask me what I came here for?"
