Au's pov-

Mina look at the busy girl going through some new book and marking important details with yellow highlighter to remember then bump her fist into Jerry's shoulder to guesture towards her.

Both of them were concerned about the girl who was able to pull out a hidden card and buy all books with requirements laboratory materials. Carl on the other hand was giggling and laughing with y/n like a best friend who were so happy right now.

"Y/n?", mina slowly call her name to make her hum but not looking up.

"How did you got this?", she ask looking at the books strangely and bite her lips in thoughts of how can she get them on time.

Maybe carl help her got those but if she want then they might have bought it before a long time and there was no way for her to get them from someone else cause y/n was a loner.

Jerry was also frowning to the things because when they saw her face in the morning, there was relaxing glow that happen to change her face into somewhat double charming side.

Y/n very well knew their interest and intensity to know about her matter so she intends to keep them in darkness forever and never willing to share any more personal things to make it annoying for the future.

Even carl was temporarily know that jin help her but then too, she doesn't got to see what y/n gave in returns for this big amount that was transferred to her account in the morning with a note that says to have a great startup.

"I got money so bought them!", y/n shrug like it was nothing but this didn't satisfy the current curiosity of the duo who rise their eyes on her.

"Carl?", mina turn to the new girl, who look up from her phone and awkwardly look between them not knowing what were they talking about.

Seeing her condition, mina was to yell and bang her head but just smile faking a eye roll then guesture towards y/n who move back to read then mouth the question in whisper.

But carl being the silly girl trying to get her lips symptoms and want to connect the words that were going through her mind. But finally after not hearing a words, y/n sigh and speak louder for her.

"She is asking if you help me buying!", this took them blank from the supreme words completely opposite of calmness y/n who seems changed.

"Ohh you bought books? I didn't notice, sorry but no mina there was not helping involved here", carl definitely joke by speaking her real name but mina was moreover focus on y/n to get outlook on her.

"Then how the hell were you able to get this? And. ..you have no...", mina stop seeing the dark glare from y/n.

She thumps her book loudly close that made some students working alone in the free lecture turn to her but none pay attention for more time due to the silence of the group.

"You don't have to worry for me! I have life that sometimes become hard but not stay like that forever", y/n indirect speech made jerry understand what she was speaking but mina was far more furious on her.

She wasn't able to stand that the simple, mouth less and desperate girl was talking back with getting her work done without her opinion or help. This was her limit cause she always want to see her beg and be low infront of her and whatever happens today didn't seat good with her mind.

The reaming box of the bell rung the door to let them know that the break has started for the students and they are allowed to leave. Y/n didn't gave a small smile to mina and keep packing her bag with books to go with carl while mina was murmuring around with jerry in harsh tone.
