Y/n's pov-

Thud.. thud.. thud.. ?

My blurring eyes blinking rapidly open hearing the door of the hostel room knock three time in rhythm speed then all silent. My body move on it own to open the door but only dark hallway came in the view.

Who the hell is knocking on my door then leaving soon afterward? I turn my head back and forth between the two sides to notice something.

But then a shadow on wall cause me to flick back in reflection when a small glass vase was thrown in my way. With each thumping pieces and my scream rode the light around on.

"Y/nnn", carl who live next door rush to held me back from the broken piece while our warden ma'am run.

"Hey, how did this happen? Y/n! Are you alright?", she asked walking near me to check then look around at the girls who look at shocked.

"I-i didn't know! Someone knocked then when I open it, a vase was thrown out... i-i dong it on time..", my whisper made carl turn me around to give a hug while rubbing my back to calm me.

Warden was going to shout on the girls to find the mysterious people but two security guards rushing in our direction looking so worried.

"Ma'am, we have an immediate meeting! Our camera service were broken and someone came inside the hostel", one yell breathing heavily.

"Oh god! Someone want to hurt y/n! Then we have an introvert here. Girls keep being in team and you call the police team! We need a search party now", she warned us then lead us outside towards the garden.

Guards standing there run to call the police while some girls already have asked their families to take them back for the night while some from far distance were taken care here.

Police team came quickly then took the statement from guards who show them the camera room then the hallway where someone try to hurt me with other area to find if anyone was hidden here.

Some hour later, one woman office came forward with our warden ma'am who look at me fearing for some reason. Both look at me then at each other before finalizing to speak.

"Miss y/n?", i nod with the name while carl pull my scarf upper on my shoulder to hide me from the cold.

"It looks like a good plan set accident where the guards were distracted by camera getting broken but surprisingly they were all only on your floor where you were attacked by them!", officer women spoke that freeze me.

"We couldn't find someone guilty or missing but there is something we wished to question you again!", she asked while carl keep supporting me.

"Why do you think someone came for you?", her words are spoken lightly

"I-i had an kidnapping accident just before my examination where the prisoners were asked to keep me up to fail me but my friends found me somehow then took care about paper!", my response made her look at me calmly.

"So you think it just cause your friends managed to help you give exam again made this situation?", she asked while warden ma'am look exactly shocked.

"Not because of that but I did top the list so there might be someone who doesn't want me having good marks", my whisper reach her ear that's enough for me.

"That can be provided but it wasn't sure so we would like to warn you ahead of time and keep you safe! Is there any home place that you would like to stay within? Like with siblings or uncle or parents!", she expected.

But there was none other place for me now after leaving orphanage and mina won't let me stay with her in apartment building while carl is already here so nope. Due to my shaking head in no drop their faces in faxed.
