Its been a few hours since we visited Sam in the hospital. Were all trying to figure out what were going to do now. We need to find a new guitar lead. My mind wanders back to Sams words at every possible moment.

~flashback~

"I am sorry, guys, but its just too much. I dont even like playing guitar. I just joined your stupid band to be better than someone. It wasnt even something I liked." Sam grabs his phone, answering someone without looking up, saying all of this to us.

In the beginning, I thought he really liked it. I am just not so sure what to do now. I know playing an instrument isnt for everyone, but his words are tough to hear. The band is my everything. It isnt stupid; its something beautiful and peaceful. The band and the people in it have my heart and soul.

"Stupid? You fucked up child. Youre stupid for wasting our time." Tyler takes a couple of steps towards him, but Aria stops him, pulling him back.

Tyler looks incredibly fuming, Aria is trying to mask her sadness, while Jax is actually just laughing out loud, holding his stomach for support.

I raise my eyebrow at Jax, forgetting for just a moment what Sam said.

We all know Jax could be a little strange in the best way, but the way he is laughing at this makes me rethink our friendship.

Before I could say anything, I suddenly hear Taylor Swift streaming from Jaxs Phone before anyone can ask he raises his Phone speaking.

"Helps me calm down." Jax takes a big breath in.

"I'm like the water when your ship rolled in that night." Jax sings along with the song, closing his eyes.

I want to say this is not something he usually does, but then I would lie.

Everybody keeps an eye on Jax as he continues singing along.

"The more you say, the less I know." He points to Sam, making a cheerful spin.

"What the actual fuck." Sam mutters through the last chorus of the song.

I actually already found myself humming along. Jax just makes it look so beautiful.

When the song stops, Jax finds himself at the side of Sams hospital bed, holding the middle of a long plug.

Oh God.

"I will pull it out." His voice darkens, the whole Taylor Swift vibe gone.

"Thats from the lamp." Tyler points to the lamp seated on the side table.

Oh, well, you get the idea behind it.

~End Flashback~

"Guys, I can play two instruments at the same time. Thats an idea." Jax grabs both his feet, which are covered in bright pink socks. He is at the moment sitting on my bed, his legs crossed, wiggling around.

Wait, those are my socks.

Damn him. He is going to stretch them out with his big-ass feet.

"You can't even play one instrument right." Tyler huffs.

I look around my room. All my guitars are hung around the walls, my band posters above my bed and my desk. My room does make me feel peaceful; its my space, but now the strange feeling in my stomach is not going away.

We could find a replacement before the competition, Aria suggests, swinging in my indoor swing chair, where she fixes the leaves I creeped around them. Its my chair where I place my instruments or write my songs.

"Agree. Weve worked very hard on this. This could be our chance." I walk around my room, fidgeting with my necklace, stumbling a couple of times over Jax, who accidentally pulls out his feet, making me trip.
