YOU AND ITADORI WERE SAT on your bed, just casually chatting as Elvis plays in the background on your vinyl.
He was nervous but excited about the mission tomorrow, he whined like a child when Gojo told him you weren't gonna be there by his side every second on the mission and he ran straight to your dorm.
"I'm gonna beat that curse's ass so bad y/n, and you'll be our pretty nurse on the sidelines," he ranted, teasing you at the last part. You just let out an airy laugh,
"I'm sure you will Itadori," you reassured.
He grinned when you said that, flopping his head on your chest and wrapping his arms around you.
"I'm still a little nervous though,"
"That's natural, it's your first mission. I was too on mine," you told him. "And I'll be there to heal you if you get injured," you added on, your fingers running through his hair.
Then a song he actually recognised from Elvis came on,
"Come on, you like elvis!" Yuji cheers, tugging on your arm as he tries to pull you off the bed.
Can't help falling in love was playing by Elvis Presley, he knew you like Elvis from what you told him.
"Come on, dance with me baby," he grins.
"don't be silly-"
"it's not silly, just come on," he laughs and finally yanks you up, his arm around your waist as he sways along to the music.
"you're looking beautiful today, by the way..." he grins as he looks down at you, pulling you close.
"Yeah yeah, I know. You've already said about a million times," you teased, giggling a little.
He laughs softly as he smiles down at you.
"What? Am I not allowed to say it multiple times? You're just too cute baby," he grins as he lifts your chin with his hand, leaning close to you as he sways with you. The nickname was just him teasing though, you could tell.
