A brilliant light illuminated the backyard garden of the Portman home. Loralie, a woman with gentle beauty, sat on the armrest of a chair in which her lover sat.

He ran his fingers through her hair as he breathed in the fresh night air, a feeling of calm and warmth surrounding him.

"Love, you haven't forgotten, have you?" I ask softly, avoiding having my voice echo back to our daughter who plays with her puppy behind us. "What have I forgotten?" He responded, his deep voice low as well. I ran my hand down his neck and shoulders, landing on his strong chest. "Your son... I want to bring him over. Have you contacted your ex wife yet?" I whispered to him, keeping it as a surprise for Bea. He went "ooh" and nodded. We talked about this recently, A big brother for Bea... Also... I can't have any more children. I wanted a son but, I'm fortunate my fiancé already has a son. I'm alright being a stepmom, a child is a child after all.

I know the circumstances and I get it. He didn't want kids with her but she did what she wanted anyways. He did what he thought was best for the kid, I'm sure once we bring him over, they'll have the opportunity to form that bond between father and son.

I mean, he's the son of billionaires, I'd be lying if I said I felt bad. He's lucky to have such a great dad like Franco, and now he has a sister to protect and love. Our little family will do just fine.

"I'll have my secretary call-"

"No. I want this to be done like normal and civil people, call her and have her come over. You're asking for a lot, you know? It's unlikely she'll want to give us primary custody." I interrupted him quickly. She's raised him for 10 years, I'll be happy if we can settle within a few months. From what I know about her, she won't resist if we offer her a million or so.

"Alright, Alright. I'll call her tomorrow." He gave into my request, sighing helplessly. "Whatever makes you happy, my love" He whispered as he raised his head to me, kissing the back of my hand. My lovely man.

My parents are up to something... and I know. Dad has a son a year older than me, I don't know his name and when I asked dad about him when we first met, Dad said he can't remember. Sigh, he was really something before we met, he's changed though. I did my best to win his heart, who knew I'd do better than his son, well, I'll help him out. The art of winning hearts by being cute!

I'm excited they're bringing him to stay, I wonder what it'll be like? Big brothers, from what I know, are pretty rowdy and I can only imagine how spoiled this one will be. The ones at my private school are unbearable, Leo is the worst of them, he always freaks out when anyone doesn't do what he says. I'm glad I was raised with some sense! Anyways, I'll stay positive for now.

I never wanted that thing. Regina was beautiful when I met her, but after a few months, I was falling asleep bored. She did everything for my attention, threatening to leave, cheating, causing trouble at the companies I run. I would have put a hit on her if her father wasn't a decent man. The kid was a stupid idea, and it worked against her. Thanks to claiming the kid wasn't mine due to her cheating, I had a reason to divorce her in the eyes of her father. I did get the news that the kid was mine but I had already achieved what I wanted, the marriage of convenience was over.
