I know, I'm just existing.
I was born, and I was tossed aside. I'm just... something no one wanted. It's not my fault, it's theirs...
If I was in a movie, I'd have my way. I'd run away and join a band of super cool delinquents and I'd get adopted by a good adult. But movies are stupid and the acting sucks, they never end how they should. I'd be a tough kid if I was in a movie, I'd be cold and edgy. I'm a little cool sometimes. But... I... I'm not sure. I grew up too fast, I can't be the cool kid with amazing lore. I'm just a sad kid with a lot of TV knowledge and a lot of tears.
I cry a lot. Only the tears, I can't control them. Maybe I'm sick. I cry but I don't feel sad, I feel like punching.
I remember my father, I remember how he slapped me away when I was 3. He saw me 3 times in the year and some months when I was staying with him. I don't want to look at him, I don't want to be near him... He should be charged criminally.
The world is like that, those people can be happy no matter what. They are the stars on the stage of life, it does not matter what happens to anyone around them. I should have been a child with a dumb brain, but I'm a child who knows a lot. I don't want to know a lot.
I don't know what to think, he wants me back. Is he in need of a kidney? A liver? A heart? How do children with parents behave? Can I still skip school? Probably not. He'll be shocked when he finds out I can't read. I'm even shocked.
My mother is a bad person too. I never met her, but I see her on tv shows. Nanny pointed her out. Nanny said "Take a look, do you see her anyways around this dump? no, because you're not worth a thing. Don't you forget that, you're just tossed aside trash." She seemed calm while she said it, I don't think she was insulting me, she was just being honest. I'll be worth something one day, when I'm older and better at being a person. I'll be able to read too.

He sat in the back seat staring out the window, his gaze strange. His eyes moved from side to side as if he was watching something, but his face remained still like a porcelain doll. He wore his winter coat, but it seemed like the coat wore him instead. All bones he is. His turtleneck? loose around the neck. His long hair covered his cheeks, keeping them warmer than his red, cold nose. Little one, oh little one, do you know where you are going?
At the third stop, He watched the driver and second person get out for a smoke. He rolled his window down, the cold night air and smell of smoke entering his lungs.
"The boss has really changed, huh? I never thought he'd want this kid."
"Yeah, well he's a family man now. His daughter probably wants a sibling."
"True, It was nice having just one kid around but siblings should be together I guess."
"The boy has been quiet the whole ride too, it should be easy for him to get along with her, she's great."
"Yeah, he must be really happy too. I'd be pumped if I was in his position."
"I don't know man, I wouldn't want my parents after being alone for my whole life. But hey, kids are stupid and just want their parents to love them."
*Crack*
The sound of metaphorical glass cracking reverberated in Boy's ears.
A family? A daughter?
[The heck? ha...hahaha...]
His head spun as he steadied himself, his heart racing and veins throbbing. His face contorted into many unpleasant expressions, not able to be identified. What he was feeling could not be identified.
His boney finger gripped the edge of the car seat and his unclipped nails scratched the leather, his head twitching.
[I'm just the pet being brought in to make their princess happy?...]
Truth is, he was a little excited.
The car door flew open and like a young stallion, he fled with no rider holding him back or pulling the reins. The men were caught off guard, but even if they were prepared, this weightless boy ran with the racing winter winds. His black hair disappeared into the dark snow and left only the salty air of his ice dried tears.
Running into the dark open field of snow, he had no thought of tomorrow, only tonight. He only stopped running when his body said so, falling into the snow and dirt. He laid on his back and took deep, cold breaths. In this moment, he felt as if he could become one with the snow.
