Rukmini's arrival in family had brought abundance in each corner of Dwarka. Dwarka which was divine had started to glow with more of divinity. Happiness and harmony was there at everywhere.
In a fine morning Subhadra was sitting in garden after wrapping up the predefined portion of her morning routine. Her brothers had left for assembly a little earlier to attend a meeting. So, she was left with a comparatively long portion of leisure before lunch time.
She was scrambling on a parchment with a sparkling smile.
"Why are you sitting alone, Gudiya? I would have joined you if you had asked for," Rukmini came there while searching for Subhadra.
"Sorry for not asking you, bhabhi. I preferred not to disturb you since you would have to understand your duties," Subhadra stood up from her place as a gesture of love and respect for her sister in law.
Holding her hand, Rukmini sat on the bench holding Subhadra closer to her.
"Bhabhi maa had explained me everything, but she hardly allowed me to do anything. She wished me to enjoy my time as a..............," a younger sister in law had cute complain for her elder sister in law. While going ahead Rukmini took a short pause to manage her shying voice.
"As a newly wedded bride, right?" Subhadra made it easier for Rukmini who nodded at her.
"Does only newly wedded bride have the right enjoy, not her husband?" Kanha's unexpected appearance gained attention of the duo.
"Bhratashri, did the meeting get end this soon? How could you come this soon?" Subhadra's curious eyes got into the task of welcoming Kanha.
"The credit goes to you, my saviour of most of the time," he sat beside her with a relaxing sigh.
"Most of the time!" Her curious eyes challenged his compliment.
"Actually, almost every time," he rectified that.
"Fine, it's simply every time," at last he corrected that in a way she wanted.
"Dau was missing our after breakfast chitchat. So, I assured him to do that, and suggested him to focus on meeting. He agreed, and allowed me to come," his relaxation rushed into the air making the surrounding more pleasant.
"So, you claimed the chance!" her gaze grew little sharper at him.
"I claimed the chance in your care. By the way what was going on before my arrival?" He chose to divert her from getting into a banter.
"Nothing much. Bhabhi was doing chitchat with me on your behalf," she smiled looking towards Rukmini.
"So dutiful my better half is!" His stare was captivated by her sight.
"So beautiful even!" Subhadra spoke.
"I expressed the silent gesture of eyes from your behalf," she explained in short when he turned towards her asking for an explanation.
"You are no less dutiful either," with a chuckle he pulled her cheeks, gently.
"No less beautiful too," Rukmini too followed Kanha's action unlike Subhadra.
