But in all seriousness, I am leaving Wattpad. I've found much better sites to post on that compliment my writing style and that I just feel safer on. I already have these sites listed in my bio.
My main reason for leaving is that I'm finally coming out of my shell and adding people as co-authors on my stories. I've needed help with a few fics for a while now, but anxiety dictated I suck it up and just keep to myself. But now, I have people I can trust to help me with my stories, and I want to give them the proper credit they deserve. Not just a tag in the first chapter. They deserve to be an author of the story just as much as me, and that lack of recognition on this site makes me unwilling to post any stories they're helping me with on here. So, I'm just going to be leaving this site. I don't really find much of a point in staying on a site that doesn't let me credit people the way I feel like they deserve to be credited.
