Kissing You
Tevita couldn't help but feel a little giddy as Joseph teased him about getting a good luck kiss from his girlfriend Crystal before the show started.
Even though the guys were just joking around, Tevita knew deep down that he did indeed rely on those special moments with Crystal to calm his nerves and give him an extra boost of confidence.
There was just something about her calming presence and the way her soft lips met his that seemed to quiet the swirling thoughts in his mind and allow him to fully focus and tap into that zone where his skills and instincts could take over.
As Tevita made his way down the busy hallways of the arena, weaving through the throngs of coworkers, producers, and staff, he couldn't help but reflect on how far he and Crystal had come.
When they first started dating a couple of months ago, Tevita had been so guarded and hesitant to fully open up his heart.
After a string of past relationships that never seemed to work out, he had built up these thick walls around himself, determined not to get hurt again.
But there was just something undeniably special about Crystal - the way she saw right through his tough exterior to the sensitive, caring man underneath; the way she made him feel so understood and accepted, no matter what.
Slowly but surely, she had chipped away at those walls, her genuine kindness and unwavering support melting his doubts and insecurities away.
Now, as Tevita approached the spot where Crystal was standing alone, fiddling with her phone, he couldn't help the butterflies that erupted in his stomach.
Even after all this time, her mere presence had a way of making him feel weak in the knees, like an infatuated teenager all over again.
As she looked up and their eyes met, Tevita was struck, not for the first time, by just how breathtakingly beautiful she was.
Her warm, radiant smile seemed to light up the entire hallway, and Tevita felt his heart skip a beat.
At that moment, everything else faded away - the bustling activity around them, the pre-show jitters, the pressure of the upcoming segment.
All that mattered was Crystal.
Without even thinking, Tevita found himself closing the distance between them, drawn to her like a moth to a flame.
As he reached her, he gently cupped her face in his hands, gazing into her captivating eyes for a moment before leaning in and capturing her lips in a tender, passionate kiss.
In that instant, it was as if the rest of the world disappeared, and it was just the two of them, lost in their little bubble of love and connection.
Tevita felt all of his worries and anxieties melt away, replaced by a sense of peace, security, and pure joy.
When they finally broke apart, both slightly breathless, Tevita couldn't help the wide, goofy grin that spread across his face. "I love you," he murmured, his voice thick with emotion.
He knew those three little words would never fully convey the depth of his feelings for this incredible woman, but he hoped they at least gave her a glimpse into the vastness of his heart.
Crystal's smile widened as she gazed up at him, her eyes shining with adoration. "I love you too," she replied softly, her fingers gently tracing the strong line of his jaw.
Tevita felt a warm sense of contentment wash over him - it was in moments like these that he was most acutely aware of just how fortunate he was to have found someone who loved him so completely and unconditionally.
As they stood there, wrapped in each other's embrace, Tevita couldn't help but marvel at how far they had come.
At first, it had been terrifying, this feeling of vulnerability. Tevita had spent so long keeping people at arm's length, unwilling to let anyone get close enough to truly know him.
But with Crystal, it had been different. There was just something about her unwavering kindness, her genuine understanding, and her absolute acceptance of him, flaws and all, that had made him feel safe enough to let his guard down.
And as he had gradually allowed himself to be more vulnerable, to share his deepest fears and hopes, Tevita had been amazed to discover that Crystal didn't run away.
Instead, she had embraced him, offering steadfast support and reassurance that he had never experienced before. She listened without judgment, offered comfort and encouragement, and made him feel seen and valued in a way that was both humbling and empowering.
Tevita knew that opening up his heart had been one of the most terrifying but also one of the most rewarding decisions he had ever made.
With Crystal by his side, he felt stronger, more confident, and more capable of tackling any challenge that came his way. Her unwavering love and belief in him gave him the courage to push past his self-doubts and limitations, to reach for his dreams, and to truly become the best version of himself.
As they stood there in the bustling arena hallway, Tevita couldn't help but feel a deep sense of gratitude for the woman in his arms.
Crystal had become his rock, his haven in a world that could sometimes feel overwhelming and uncertain.
With her, he could let down his guard and be his authentic self, knowing that he would be met with nothing but acceptance and support.
As he held Crystal close and felt the warmth of her embrace, all of that faded into the background. All that mattered was the woman he loved, the woman who had become his everything.
With her by his side, Tevita felt like he could conquer the world.
As they finally pulled apart, Tevita couldn't resist stealing one more quick kiss, savoring the familiar softness of her lips and the way they seemed to fit together so perfectly.
He gazed down at Crystal, his heart swelling with adoration, and gently brushed a stray lock of hair behind her ear.
"You know, you're the best good luck charm a guy could ask for," he murmured with a playful wink, his fingers lightly tracing the delicate curve of her cheek. "I don't know how I'd ever make it through these shows without you."
Crystal let out a soft, melodic laugh, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "Well, then it's a good thing you've got me, isn't it?" she teased, giving his hand a gentle squeeze. "Now, go out there and show them what you're made of, superstar. I'll be cheering you on every step of the way."
Tevita felt a surge of confidence and determination coursing through him. With Crystal in his corner, he knew he could accomplish anything.
As he reluctantly tore himself away from her embrace and headed back toward the locker room, he couldn't help but feel a renewed sense of purpose and drive.
As Tevita rejoined the guys, he could feel the familiar pre-show jitters start to set in.
But instead of letting them overwhelm him, he took a deep, steadying breath and allowed Crystal's calming presence to wash over him.
"Crystal's kiss has some type of drug in it," Jacob said as they watched Tevita practically floating in the air of the locker room with a smile on his face.
