Kroger

Walking down the "Fresh Produce" aisle of the grocery store, I looked for as many fruits and vegetables as I could.

I was starting to get my old self back, my stomach had shrank back down to its original size and I loved my body once more.

I never was the type of female to easily be self conscious about my body because I was extremely confident, but my ex had taken me through the mud.

I was so hurt by how he'd left me high and dry that I packed up my things and moved as far as my wheels could take me, and mysteriously I ended up in Woodland Hills, California.

One of the most dangerous places to live but I didn't have a care in the world. Here I felt free, and that was something money couldn't buy me.

I was a registered nurse but I moved to the kitchen on our floor because our nutritionist couldn't cook, nor could she keep up with the nutritional program.

She felt like her mess didn't stink and that she could cook the way she wanted too.

She often over salted the food, and even burned small items that you could cook in your sleep.

Once we called her out her excuse would always be "They know my face, won't nobody say I can't cook."

Well bitch newsflash, you can't and you caused multiple patients to go into shock because their blood pressures were too high.

So I decided to help with managing patients the floor and making sure they're eating their correct diets set forth by the doctor.

Not wanting to be a hypocrite I decided to practice what I preached and ate healthy when it came down to myself.

I didn't ever want to get back to the state I was in where my stomach would protrude over my pants even though guys loved that.

I was so heavy in my thoughts that before I knew it, I had a cart full of fruits and vegetables and I couldn't wait to get home and cook.

Turning onto the meat aisle my buggy crashed into the side of an individual.

Though I couldn't see the size of the person I still grew scared in hopes that it wasn't a child.

"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry!" I shouted running over to the person only to come face to face with Krish's twin brother Kris.
