Visiting Chernobyl is the tell tale sign of how fast Humanity can turn a city of 50'000 people into a ghost town with our own technology.
The tour was quite possibly the creepiest but most amazing experience of my life, also quite risky.
In Chernobyl, there is no way to dodge radiation. Just be prepared, my Geiger counter was shooting up sometimes over 800 or so, that's about X4 the lethal limit.
Imagine a forest, so radioactive it turns all red. Hence the name "red forest" the trees were scorched after Reactor 4 blew up.
In Chernobyl vegetation as well is heavily affected by radiation, you can get serious amounts of radiation from plants or anything that grows out of the ground.
I do not have ARS and my radiation levels are perfectly fine.
