I groggily open my eyes to the sun yelling at me through the curtains as the alcohol from last night hits me "fucking hate hangovers" I grumble to myself rising out of bed and realizing I stayed over at Roniʻs "shit" I mumble I look over and she's still out cold "hey" I shake her attempting to wake her up "oi rons wake up" a low groan is all i get out of her, ok well that's not happening I check my phone ʻ7:18ʻ ʻcash; hey did you make it out ok last night?ʻ fuck I forgot to tell cash I was staying over its fine ill see him at school, ok that's fine enough time for breakfast, I tiptoe downstairs as not wake anyone up knowing that ant and his sisters parents might be home at any time today , I made myself a bowl of weetbix and a cuppa my body slowly accepting that I need to wake up, I pop two panadol when I see ant and spider walk downstairs "morning ives" ant said in a low hum spider just gives me a lazy smile "wheres rons" spider questions " shes still in bed didn't want to deal with her potentially throwing something at me for waking her" I say, he chuckles before going upstairs I'm going to assume to wake her up, when spiders gone ant comes up behind me and rests his head on my should with his eyes closed "rough night ey?" I hum "You have no idea, spider snores like a bear" he wraps his arms around my torso letting out a laugh "Oi what you doing hm" I ask slightly surprised by the sudden affection "Nothing" he coos in my ear, I put down my bowl before turning to him, our faces inches apart from each other "hey" he breaths out "hi" I return quickly, we hesitate for a second before he closes the gap kissing me, I move back before deepening the kiss when I hear someone groan "guys what the fuck" we turn to see spider and roni standing there staring at us " you look like hell" ant states to his sister "I'm gonna puke no affection this early in the morning" she wines "cmon you to gotta get ready for school" spider takes roni up stairs and me and ant turn back to each other and smile, following after the two not mentioning what happened mier seconds before.
"I'm leaving with or without you two in 10 minutes" Roni yells upstairs signaling for the boys upstairs to hurry up "Hey hope it's okay I borrowed ur shorts," I ask peering over my shoulder to Roni finishing her cup of coffee and grabbing her car keys " yeah whatever just hurry up" she huffs out clearly still hungover and not at all ready for the day ahead.

"hey before I forget Dusty's gig is tonight you got the slap band's Spence?" Roni turns to the back seat perring at Spider "Yeah I got em" he grabs out a slap band and puts it on my wrist and hands one to Roni and Ant "Free of charge "Spider mentions "How generous" Roni says with a hint of sarcasm she says "Retro, cute" I say looking back at Roni getting out of the car "oi spider make sure map bitch doesn't get her hands on one of these" Roni says nodding over to amerie walking into school with Darren and Quinn "duh why do you think dusty put me in charge of them" he said winking at the girl " oh I forgot about that The Cate Blanchett, right?" I questioned "No, we're Chronic Fatigue now. But, um, I don't know if it'll stick. Hopefully, we will figure it out" Spider blurts out "Well you boys better stick to something before Friday or I'm not playing," Roni says walking into school, ronis in dustys band I only recently found out because she was complaining about how they couldn't figure out a name and stick to it for more than a week at a time and now I understand why she was complaining, we walk through the gates and end up with dusty and Malakai "morning fellas" Malakai greets us "morning kai " I reply "oo new nickname already I like it " he teases "yeah kai " as ant jumps on his back and we all start giggling at the boy's antics.
