Lets play a Game

The car ride was peaceful. Lucifer was messing with the window switch because he was bored, but he couldn't stop thinking about Korena and how good she looked in his jacket. He looked down at the hand she had allowed him to hold when he fixed her bruise on her wrist and held it on his face, caressing it like hers.

Alastor looks over to see the King looking lovey-dovey with hearts in front of his face. He squints as he rolls his eyes, his sarcasm dripping, "What will Charlie think?"

He turns his head, squinting at his words, "Why are you bringing up Charlie?"

"I wonder what you'll say when she asks about your missing jacket. That'll be quite the show," Alastor chuckles. Lucifer shrugs off the comment as Alastor smirks, watching the King lean his head against the window, a smile playing on his lips. Alastor looks out the window to see sinners walking their children, their pets, and fucking their pets and children. Oh, what a demonic world we live in.

The car parks outside the hotel's doors as the driver opens the King's door first and then Alastors. The front doors open to see Charlie and Vaggie at the front desk, Angel at the bar talking to Husk, and the Egg Boy messing with Keekee. Charlie runs to Lucifer with big open arms and squeezes him tightly, then shortly greeting Alastor, "So how was breakfast? Was it good? Dad, please tell me you didn't fuck someone there, did you?" Charlie whispered.

"Charlie! What do you think of me as a hoe!"

"Hey! No one else can be called a hoe except me," Angel said, pointing at himself. Lucifer winces and puts his hand up, apologizing, and faces Charlie once. They talk about the cafe's service, the food, and how 'utopian' it looked since they were in Hell. Alastor interrupts him by alerting Charlie. "Do you notice anything different about the King?" he questions.

Lucifer angrily death-glaring at him as Charlie observes her father closely, face to face. "I don't see anything different about him. He smells the same," she said as she turned around, confused. Lucifer smiled devilishly and flipped him off, snickering quietly until Charlie turned around abruptly! "Wait! I think I know what it is now," she said as Lucifer flinched at her reaction. Alastor grinning at him for her to find the truth, "Did you go to the salon? Did you do something different with your hair?" He mentioned Charlie as an angry Radio Demon clenching his cane.

"Alastor, can you tell me what I'm not seeing in my dad?" Charlie said, gesturing at Lucifer. He looks down at him with his smiling grin covering his whole face, Lucifer sweating down his neck as a shadow covers his eyes. Before Alastor could tell the princess, he leaned on his cane to be closer, showing his smirk, making Lucifer's blood boil with rage for being super close to his daughter; he sprawled open his body and his wings popping out,

"Oh, GOLLY, look at the time! I think my ducks are getting worried about me; I should go check on them." He said nervously, laughing, pointing at the portal he had conjured and escaping to his room. They all stared, confused at Lucifer's portal fairy dust, as Charlie talked to Alastor about not pestering her father anymore.

Husk watched her as he was behind the bar cleaning the glass cups, rolling his eyes and growling softly, "Now, don't be a grumpy cat, Whiskers," said Angel, pouting, his face looking teary in the eyes. Husk growls at him as he pours him a drink and slides the glass along the bar table, where it stops perfectly at his hand. What a master. He then watched Husk clean the glass aggressively as he turned the direction to where Charlie and Alastor were still talking. "You're still mad at him? He's not going to do anything to Charlie if that's—"

"It's not that," Husk interrupted Angel. " He was trying to get Lucifer to explain to his daughter that his coat was not on his person," he said, calming his voice. Angel looked confused, as he didn't understand what he meant until he got a call from her co-worker who left a voicemail. He put his phone to his ear, hearing the voicemail. His eyes widened, and a grin appeared. "What got you so happy?" Husk asked.
