"i can't believe you just graduated, martin!!" caitlin screamed in my ear as she hugged me. "i know i know, who would've thought!" i laughed as i accept the hug.
"who's ready to partyyyy!!" monika ran up to us and engulfed us into a group up, jumping up and down. "god knows i could use a drink." i laughed as the hug dispersed.
"amen, sister. so everyone is still invited, but i invited a few extra people. don't worry, they're cool. see you both there then, yeah?" mon explained as she slipped off her heels, assuming she was fed up with the pain.
"ok, see you there, mon." i gave her a kiss on the cheek and caitlin and i left. we spent the entire car ride talking about the party and who the new people might be, also caitlin constantly excitedly bringing up the fact me and mon graduated.
never been more thank for my life and the people in it.
