Larah's Outfit <--> Clay's Outfit

Larah's POV

At this point, I'm sure I'm living in one of my answered prayers. I'm with Clay, the one woman I've loved and the only best friend I've ever had. Those four years were like torture, and I almost thought she'd never come for me. I was stupid, wasn't I?

And then there's Candice. I don't know what it is, but she reminds me of Clay the first time I saw her in that lecture room. I would love to have her around more often.

And then there's a boy, he's crazy—my kind of crazy! Clay thinks I'm the female version of Nate, and I couldn't agree more. Just when I was deep in thought, I see a familiar figure, and the profile checks—mudafuckin Bella Croft!!!

"This bitch!" I spat as I made my way through the crowd, I didn't need to ask, I knew Clay was right on my heels. That's how loyal she is.

"Larah, what bitch?" she asked, still following me as I grabbed Bella by the arm and spun her around to face me.

"Of course, I'm not seeing you in the club because you're home working on the schedule your boss sent you," I said sarcastically, then waited for her response.

"Girl, leave me alone, don't you have new best friends to entertain?" she hissed.

"Oh, so I'm the bad guy here? Clay wanted me to invite you so badly, but you had to be a bitch and lie, saying you had work? The fuck is wrong with you?" I scoffed, bringing my face closer to hers.

"I don't care what Klein or whatever her name is," I cut her off, poking her chin up to face me.

"I'll tell you two things; one, you don't want to mess with her; two, Clay is where I draw the line, cunt!" she moved her face from me her eyes sending daggers at Clay.

"Next time say all that bullshit to my face and I swear nobody'd recognize all that silicon once I'm done with you. GOT IT?" Clay spat, giving her a dirty look.

"She's a beast," I smirked. "Don't say I didn't warn you," I sneered at her before lacing my arm with Clay's and heading back to the VIP section. It turned out the guys had been watching the whole scene not far from where we were, and they followed us back to the couch.

"Popsie, who was that? She isn't safe; you almost killed her," Nate asked dramatically, pulling my hand into his. I noticed Clay's eyes on our hands; she briefly smiled and sipped from her glass.

"She was really pushing my buttons," I said, keeping my eyes trained on her as I sipped my drink and adjusted myself comfortably on the couch.

"Ignore her," Nate said, his thumb rubbing circles on the back of my hand to calm me. I could see Clay smiling shyly during the conversation she was having with Valdo.
