Things were going smoothly for Y/N outside the racetrack. Hailee's new song, "Sunkissing," was climbing the charts, receiving high praise, and her role as Gwen Stacy in "Across The Spider-Verse" had garnered critical acclaim. The power couple was stronger than ever, living their lives in LA and skillfully navigating their busy schedules to ensure their relationship remained a priority

However, inside the tracks, Y/N and the McLaren team continued to grapple with persistent reliability issues. Despite their best efforts, the car's performance was inconsistent, and it was taking a toll on their championship aspirations. The much anticipated Lamborghini partnership was set to begin after the next season, but for now, they needed to secure their position and aim for at least second place in the Constructors' Championship

As the sun set over the Los Angeles skyline, casting a warm golden hue over the city, Hailee sat on the balcony, lost in thought. Lost in her thoughts, Hailee didn't notice Y/N approaching until he sat down beside her, gently taking her hand.

Y/N: Penny for your thoughts?

Hailee: Just thinking about how perfect Tom and Zendaya's wedding was. It got me wondering about our future.

Y/N: It was an amazing day. And I know what you mean. I've been thinking about it too.

Hailee: Really?

Y/N: Yeah. We've got something special, Haiz. I know we're both busy and there's a lot going on... but I can't imagine my life without you

Hailee felt her heart swell with emotion. She looked into Y/N's eyes, seeing the sincerity and love there.

Hailee: I feel the same way. But I also know you're young, and there's so much you want to accomplish. I don't want to rush you into anything you're not ready for.

Y/N: You're about two and a half years older than me, Hailee. What matters is how we feel about each other. And I feel like I'm ready for whatever comes next, as long as it's with you.

Hailee's eyes glistened with tears of happiness. She leaned in, resting her head on Y/N's shoulder.

Hailee: I love you so much. Whatever the future holds, I know we'll face it together

Y/N: I love you too, Haiz. And when the time is right, we'll take that next step. For now, let's just enjoy what we have and take it one day at a time.
