"Here, I thought she wouldn't be of any use." Shivaay scoffed, looking at the monitor in front, where the performance details of Aadhisha were being shown.

They were basically videos of her interview and the test conducted at the mafia base. Shivaay was honestly surprised to see her performing just as a professional.

He looked at the footage humming—drowning in her moves and on top that, he admitted that Aadhisha looked ravishingly hot in the three-piece suit—oh, he wanted to fuck her rough and hard, but he was also swayed towards the azure eyes he found in Jammu, this driving him crazy—

The doors of the study room were blamed open by none other than Aadhisha and behind her was Daksh—she walked inside like a regal queen who had won a war.

She stood Shivaay with her chin up, smirking down into his face, while he also looked at her with that, oh so non-expressant face.

"So? What do you think? Tell me where I fit."

"Show that attitude somewhere else. You are still under scrutiny." Shivaay glared hard at Aadhisha.

The air inside Shivaay's study room was thick with anticipation, tension coiling like a snake ready to strike. Aadhisha was on the edge of her sanity, her hands clasped tightly together.

Her heart was pounding like a war drum. She had spent hours of the night preparing for this moment, enduring the grueling tests and trials set forth by Shivaay, the enigmatic man who ran the Raizada industries and the clandestine underworld that operated beneath its polished exterior.

Shivaay, his piercing gaze fixed on Aadhisha, leaned back in his chair, his expression inscrutable as always. His posture was always a testament to his power, adorned with rare artifacts and expensive furnishings, yet an aura of danger hung in the air, reminding Aadhisha of the stakes involved in her quest for a position.

Finally, breaking the silence that stretched between them like a taut wire, Aadhisha summoned her courage. "Shivaay," she began, her voice steady despite the turmoil within her. "I have completed every task you set before me. I have proven my loyalty and my skills. Now, I must know where I stand in this company and in your organization."

Shivaay regarded her with a measured gaze, as if weighing her worth in the balance of his judgment. "You have indeed exceeded my expectations, Aadhisha," he conceded, his voice like velvet concealing steel. "Your determination and resourcefulness have not gone unnoticed. But understand this: in our world, loyalty is everything. You must be willing to sacrifice everything for the greater good of our organization."

Aadhisha nodded, her resolve unyielding. "I am aware of the risks, Shivaay. I am willing to do whatever it takes to prove myself worthy of the position."

Shivaay's lips curled into a faint smirk, a gesture that sent shivers down Aadhisha's spine. "Very well," he said, rising from his seat and crossing the room to stand before her. "From this day forth, you will be granted access to the inner workings of our organization. You will have a seat in the courtroom, but remember, with great power comes great responsibility."
