"What the fuck do you think you are doing?!"
Aadhisha was horrified to witness the craziest monkey dancing on the table, holding a spatula, and pointing at the two figures she saw.
"Laav, veer?"
They looked at her, ignoring the circus on the table, and they immediately recognized her from that night.
"Umm...How are you, ma'am?"
Yes, they felt guilty—not for bringing her to their boss—but for the mishap that struck in their faces. That should never have happened to a woman in their van.
"Oh? I am totally fine!"
They looked at each other, not understanding how to apologize—
"Hey! Adi, why are you talking about these monsters?"
The kitchen of Shivaay's palace was usually a place of international, exquisite culinary experimentation and casual gatherings. However, on this particular evening, it became the stage for a spectacle that would be talked about for weeks to come.
Ash, usually the laid-back and easygoing fellow, had found himself in an unexpected fit of jealousy. Standing atop the French table, which doubled as a makeshift island in the middle of the luxury kitchen, he brandished an oversized Italian spatula dramatically towards his enemies, Laav and Veer. Both of them stood frozen, their expressions caught between confusion and stifled laughter.
Aadhisha, leaning against the counter with a mixture of amusement and exasperation, observed the scene with raised eyebrows. She had been the unwitting subject of Ash's sudden ape instinct, though she was far from impressed.
"Ash, seriously? Are you going to cook them if they talk to me?" Aadhisha's voice held a hint of amusement, tinged with mild annoyance.
Ash, with his tousled hair and a comically serious expression, retorted, "I'm warning you both! Keep your distance from me unless you want to face the wrath of the spatula!"
Laav, unable to contain himself any longer, burst into laughter. "Oh, come on, Ash! Are you trying to scare us away with kitchen utensils now?"
Veer, his hand over his mouth to suppress giggles, added, "I think you've watched too many dramatic movies, mate."
Undeterred, Ash hopped down from the table, maintaining his mock sternness. "I'm not kidding, guys. I am off-limits!"
Aadhisha rolled her eyes affectionately. "Ash, I appreciate the chivalry, but you're being ridiculous."
Ash's facade cracked as he grinned sheepishly, realizing the absurdity of his actions. "Okay, maybe I got a little carried away."
Laav clapped Ash on the shoulder, still chuckling. "No worries, mate. We get it. You're panicking."
Veer nodded in agreement. "But seriously, the spatula? You could have gone for a ladle at least."
The duo dissolved into laughter, the tension of the moment melting away into the warm atmosphere of camaraderie. Aadhisha shook her head fondly at Ash, who was there in his confused phase.
