Next day

They were resting, and Gunwook started to put his things back in his bag. They had just finished the tutor's morning session, and the room was filled with the quiet hum of the air conditioner. "Gunwook..." Gyuvin called, breaking the silence. Gunwook looked at him with raised eyebrows.

"Can we go out? Is it okay? I want to go outside and eat," Gyuvin said, spinning lazily in his chair, his eyes hopeful.

"We still have an afternoon session, Gyuvin," Gunwook replied, his voice steady and firm.

"Is it really not possible to continue next week, please? That won't reduce your salary. I'm going to convince my mom not to reduce the salary because you are my friend too," Gyuvin pleaded, winking at him in an attempt to lighten the mood.

Gunwook gave him a disgusted look. "It's not about my salary, idiot. I just don't want to skip a lesson, that's why I don't want to," he said firmly, his voice carrying a note of finality.

"Just do it as an assignment for the next lesson, please. I promise I will really study," Gyuvin begged, his eyes wide and pleading. "I just want to spend time with you, my friend."

Gunwook looked at him, still deciding whether to say yes or no. He sighed deeply, running a hand through his hair. "My friend, my ass, but okay, okay, I'll agree," he finally relented.

Gyuvin stood up, his face breaking into a wide grin as he raised his arms in the air. "Yeeeyyy!!" he celebrated loudly. "Let's go!!"

"H-huh? Where?" Gunwook asked, his confusion evident.

"I'm going to treat you a food, you idiot, to thank you for being a good tutor!" Gyuvin said, grabbing his hand and pulling him up. "Come on, let's go!" He dragged him out of the house, their laughter echoing down the hallway.

They stopped at a white car parked outside. "Go inside," Gyuvin ordered him, but Gunwook looked at him in confusion and simply said, "Huh?"

Gyuvin just laughed at his reaction. "I said go inside the car. We are heading out!" he repeated, his excitement palpable.

"O-oh..." Gunwook nodded, opened the car door, and entered, still looking a bit bewildered. After Gyuvin entered too and sat in the driver's seat, Gunwook asked, "Wait, are you the one who's driving?"

"Yeah, why?" Gyuvin replied with a questioning look, raising an eyebrow.

"I don't trust you. We might even have an accident!" Gunwook retorted, his voice tinged with worry.

Gyuvin laughed heartily. "Yah! Trust me, I'm a good driver, okay? How about you? Are you even good at driving?" he asked smugly, a playful grin on his face.

Gunwook shook his head, making Gyuvin laugh harder. "Of course I'm not good, dumbass. I don't even own a car. Tsk! Are you that stupid, Gyuvin?" he said, annoyed, looking away.

Gyuvin laughed, enjoying the banter. He really liked seeing Gunwook's reactions. He started the engine and began to drive. "Where are we going to eat?" Gyuvin asked while his eyes were on the road, trying to distract himself from his apprehension.

"I don't know, why are you even asking me? Maybe you're the picky one between the two of us," Gunwook stated, glancing at Gyuvin.

"Well, maybe you're right... but we're here now because I'm treating you, so I don't care if I don't like the food as long as you want it," Gyuvin said, giving the youngest a reassuring smile, his eyes twinkling with mischief.

"I didn't expect this..." Gyuvin muttered as they arrived at a samgyetang restaurant. Gyuvin just realized Gunwook is not that rich. "It's good here! Trust me! I love eating here if I've just finished studying or after taking an exam," he said enthusiastically, trying to convince Gunwook.

"But there are better restaurants here..." Gyuvin muttered under his breath, his eyes scanning the modest exterior of the restaurant.

"Did you say something?" Gunwook asked him with a questioning look, tilting his head slightly.

"Nothing, I didn't..." Gyuvin shook his head. "Why? Don't you like it? Let's just take out the samgyetang we ordered and find a new place to eat," he said, disappointment flickering across his face.

"No! It's okay! I like it here," Gyuvin said while shaking his hands. He gave Gunwook a soft smile, trying to reassure him.

"Oh, okay..." Gunwook smiled back, feeling slightly more at ease.

The food arrived, and the waiter put the samgyetang and the other dishes on the table. "Let's enjoy this food," Gunwook said, picking up his chopsticks. He was almost going to spread the chicken, but Gyuvin took his plate and replaced it with his, the one where the chicken was already spread. "Enjoy your food," he said, spreading the chicken with his chopsticks.

Gunwook was stunned. He looked down at the samgyetang and smiled. "Thank you," he said, his voice soft and grateful, while starting to eat.

The oldest couldn't stop himself from smiling. "You're welcome," he replied and began eating too. They ate in comfortable silence for a while, savoring the rich, comforting flavors of the food.

"This is really good," Gyuvin admitted, breaking the silence, his voice filled with genuine appreciation.

"I told you so," Gunwook said, grinning. "I knew you'd like it."

"Yeah, you were right," Gyuvin conceded, a small smile playing on his lips. "Thanks for bringing me here."

Gunwook grin widened. "Anytime, vin."

As they finished their meal, Gyuvin looked at Gunwook thoughtfully. "You know, it's nice to take a break sometimes. We work so hard, we deserve moments like these."

Gunwook nodded slowly. "I guess you're right. It's good to relax and just enjoy the moment."

Gyuvin's eyes sparkled with a mixture of joy and relief. "Exactly. And I'm glad I could share this moment with you."

Gunwook felt a warmth spread through him at Gyuvin's words. "Me too," he said quietly, realizing that sometimes, taking a break with a friend could be just as important as any lesson.

They left the restaurant, their stomachs full and their hearts a little lighter. As they walked back to the car, Gyuvin threw an arm around Gunwook's shoulders. "Im glad you agreed with hanging out with me," he said.

Gunwook smiled, feeling a sense of contentment he hadn't felt in a while. "No biggy" he replied

And with that, they drove off, the afternoon sun casting a warm glow over the horizon, marking the end of a memorable day and the beginning of a cherished friendship.

This is quite short... but nvm I'm busy this days pookies😢😭
